Kobe will outscore all 3 of them and win the game LOL (chances of that happening are 1/10000000 )

<div class="quote_poster">H.ayes Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Finally my years of being a Celtic fan have paid off.</div> Haha, to bad it was for last season.....I'm not sure you'll find many Raps fans looking to go double or nothing now. Honestly I'm far from a bandwagon type of person, but I love Ray Allen and with KG and Pierce I'm really pulling for you guys. Honestly my new second favorite team in the league bumping the Suns to third. Raps are and will always be #1. Besides, we(Raps) should just be hitting our prime by the time this Celtics trio is on the down slide. I see Boston taking 1st seed and the Raps making a serious play for a top #4 finish as well Boston Chicago Washington Toronto Cleveland Detroit New Jersey Miami New York Yep - Detroits all the way down there, I know thats not going to be popular, but wait and see how the season turns out - I feel their time has come and gone
I have to say, I'm still in disbelief about what Danny has done with this team. I sat down to watch the press conference, and it was one of the greatest celtics-related feelings I've had in a long time when I saw KG, Allen and Pierce smiling and holding up their Boston jerseys. The whole time I was waiting for my alarm clock to go off and wake me up from my dream.

One minute you guys are bottom-dwellers, and the next minute you're everyone's favorite to win the title. There's not many players in the league with bigger hearts than KG or Allen either, so it's not like you're compromising chemistry for talent, like in a Ron Artest or Zach Randolph trade or something. Here are some pics from KG at Fenway -
You guys better win a freaking title. Boston gets ALL of Minnesota's talent! Seriously, that's Randy Moss, KG, and David Oritz (sp?), it makes it even worse that my aunt lives in boston
why number 5 <div class="quote_poster">hoops4life Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">does anyone know if there is any particular reason why he chose 5 tho? obviously 21 is retired , thank you VC, but why 5? just curous.</div> I heard its cause he is a huge Gerald Green fan........or John Paxon maybe?
Its funny that before KG. And when the Celtics acquired Ray Allen, fans were mad. Let's see how mad they really get if KG gets hurt. nooo depth...and if these three guys don't start winning in this 3-5 year window of playing time left they have. Don't plan on getting good prospects...because 2 future first round picks are gone. I don't mean to be the party pooper. I'm just sayin though, if KG goes down. Celtics are screwed.

What if Kobe Bryant goes down, do the Lakers even make the playoffs?

I mean what if Ray Allen could get hurt as well, considering he's just coming off a surgery. And I'm not necessarily counting them out. But I wont be convinced with the Celtics until they start signing some decent free agents like they did the other day with Eddie House. If they keep on pace doing that...then I'd probably favor them in the east. Especially if they can snag PJ Brown. I mean look we all know there gonna win a s.hitload of games in the east. But I just think it's always nice to have depth on a squad for insurance. Especially when KG and Ray are 31 and older, while Pierce will be 30 in October. You guys laugh at Brian but he has a point. PG-Payton SG-Kobe SF-Fox/George PF-Karl Malone C-Shaq Sounded like a fool proof lineup at the time.

If the Celtics can make it to the Finals the year after they were the second worst team in the league, I'll be thrilled.

I'm just saying guaranteed champions might be a little much. Unless they can grab some more Free agents for depth.
Why was Paul Pierce re-introduced? Was he like, I wanna be special too or something? Whatever, they won't win a title. Not enough depth. The Lakers has some depth that year. Plus there bench wasn't rookies and some guys who are little better then some D-leaguers. I'm not hating, I'm just worried mostly. I'm thinking if I use the "If my eyes are closed I can't see it" thing the Celtics will just go away and lose in an upset.
Celtics are looking scary, but they have zero depth. They won't beat the big guns with only 3 players.
