Now with Kevin Garnett being traded to the Celtics, that pretty much seperates them from the potential teams like the Nets, Raptors and the Wizards. Andray Blatche should be sign real soon with 3 year deal for 11 mill, serious talks for Navarro should come closer as the deadline creepens up and either Etan or Brendan should leave along with them. The thing is, none of these deals will put us as favorites to win the championship, so what does Ernie Grunfeld have to pull off to put them there?

Nothing, just hope to get favourable matchups in the playoffs. The only option is trying to get Pau Gasol, but then the team would have to find a way of keeping Navarro, and I don't think the Grizz are interested in that.

It won't happen with our current structure. There needs to be a shake-up trade, something involving bringing Marion over or a solid big-men. The Wizards are now in a sticky position where we're not going to contend for a championship unless McGuire and Young really turn out well and this team gets a solid big man addition.

The team would need McGuirre, Young, and Blatche to all be very solid contributors, and by that I mean like starting caliber, and that's not happening. Also there's really no way to get any of the big men left ((or Marion), so I don't really know.
