http://www.nba.com/lakers/schedule/results_2007.html We open against Houston again and we play Phoenix on Christmas. February is a brutal month for us. 12 of 15 games are on the road. Including 6road games in 9 nights.
Glad to see we've got a new opponent on Christmas this year. I'm not sure how much of a difference it will make though, since we forget what the word "win" means on Christmas. We've also got a rough week to start off, going against three potential playoff teams in Pho, NO and Utah. At least we'll know what our team is capable of early on.
Actually our opener is against Houston on October 30th, it's easy to miss seeing as how it's only one game in October. We start off pretty rough: 9/16 games against last year playoff teams 4 of those are on the road 11/16 games are against potential playoff teams this year (9 of those being retuners) 5 of those are on the road I don't see an easy month (easy as in, not a pain in the buttocks) til January: Only 6 road games Of which only Dallas, Phoenix, San Antonio, and Detroit being very difficult games for us (Only 4/14 games) Our February games are against okay teams with the odd playoff team in the mix, but the catch is only 3 home games....ouch March and April are games I feel we need to win and capitalize on, they are by far our easiest months, with only a total of 9 road games, whereas in February we have 9 road games in a row... So look for the beginning of the season to be really really rough, if can survive that with a subpar .500 record, we can make a comeback in the end of season, possibly pushing us into the playoffs. But then again those end of the year games are also against teams pushing to get the 6-8th seeds in the West. I hope this analysis kind of helped people with looking at the schedule. I'm bored here at IVC, and I was looking at the schedule. (SIDE NOTE) You think I have a chance at making the Cal State Fullerton team, Shape? lol

Lakers @ Celtics on Nov. 23 Celtics @ Lakers on Dec. 30 for the first time in a while, Boston actually has the better team this year. it?ll be nice if we beat them this year to show that when it comes to Celtics/Lakers rivalry, that we are still the superior team the last 3 decades.
First two weeks seem hard,Road games will never be good for the Lakers.Won't these guys ever get a Christmas off...

The Sonics play a league low with 15, the Hawks, Bobcats, & 76ers play a league high 22.
<div class="quote_poster">whatthef? Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">14 back to back games seems excessive. Anybody else play that many?</div> The Magic have 7 back to backs in our first 20 games. I believe we have 20, not 19 like listed in your list shape.
