Just reported on Washington post live. Hopefully this doesn't affect the signing...I'll get a link as soon as one comes up. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Washington Wizards forward Andray Blatche, a restricted free agent, was arrested early Thursday on sexual solicitation charges. Blatche, 20, and a man identified in court documents as Gregory Palmer, tried to solicit sex from an undercover police officer, according to charging documents. Blatche was scheduled to appear in District of Columbia Superior Court on Thursday, court spokeswoman Marie Robertson said. He was also wanted for failure to appear on a charge of driving without a license, stemming from an arrest in October 2006, according to court documents. "We are aware of this matter involving Andray," Wizards President Ernie Grunfeld said in a statement issued by the team. "We are in the process of gathering all the information and will continue to monitor this situation. We will have no further comment."</div> Link

It's going to be interesting how EG reacts to this, Blatche could screw himself in the market because of these dumb acts.
Alot of the Wizards orginization has begun to question his work ethic after this mess. Sad to see it happen but I think he'll still get a contract from us.
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"> Not sure why Andray would deny the charges when they are documented, filed and on the record. According to the document titled: "United States vs. Andray Blatche, the event occured on 8/2/07 at approximately 12:11 at 10 Thomas Circle NW in Washington DC. Blatche and Palmer were both accused of solicting an undercover officer working in the prostitution unit. From the document, here is how it went down: Blatche and Palmer were in a vehicle when they pulled up at Thomas Circle. Defendant 1 (identified by police as Blatche) : "Hey, what's up with you?" Undercover cop: "You tell me." AB: I'm trying to see what you're doing." UC: "Do you want (Blank) or (Blank)?" AB: "Well, I want both." UC: "And what about you?" D-2 (identified as Palmer) : "I want the same." UC: "I charge $80 but I do two at the same time." AB: "Yeah, I'm good with it." UC to Palmer: "And what about you?" GP: "Yeah, $80 is good." UC: Aight, you want to pull right?" AB: "Naw." UC: "I have a room right here." AB: "Uh, ok?" At this point, according to the document, the cop gave a pre-arranged signal to other officers and Blatche and Palmer were arrested and later charged. A hearing for Aug. 31 has been set. Now, I'm not trying to pile on Andray but I did feel that it was important to show that myself and other reporters who worked on this story did our job correctly. Again, this doesn't mean that AB is guilty, just that he was arrested and charged. Again, I still think the Wiz and Blatche will come to an agreement on a contract but this didn't help speed things along. </div> Link Oh god, lol.
<div class="quote_poster">Asian Zero Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Link Oh god, lol.</div> Blatche is sly. "Naw, I got a room" I bet he said that in a slick tone.
Why do cops even worry about this stuff? I don't mock people that get caught smoking weed so I won't pile on AB.
He's 6'11" and if you guys don't have anything to contribute to the discussion, don't post it at all.
<div class="quote_poster">XSV Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Dammit Blatche you're a 6'10 NBA player. If you want some nookie go find a groupie.</div> You think he has groupies? I sure don't. Anyway, why would he do that? Is he oblivious to how many cops go undercover as a hooker. Man, I'm afraid to look at one, because almost 90% of the time they are cops. Kind of mean, like, He just wants a good time, a little lonely, why bust his balls?
