The Bulls will tip off their 42nd campaign on Wednesday, October 31 against the New Jersey Nets at Continental Airlines Arena at 6:30 p.m. Chicago will then host its home opener at the United Center on Friday, November 2 against the Philadelphia 76ers at 7:30 p.m. In December and January, the Bulls will play 16 games each month, their most for any month. Other games to note on the calendar are: Dallas on Monday, December 3; Boston on Saturday, December 8 and Tuesday, April 1; Seattle on Tuesday, December 11; the L.A. Lakers on Tuesday, December 18; Portland on Thursday, January 3; Phoenix on Sunday, January 27; Miami on Thursday, February 14; Denver on Friday, February 22 and the NBA Champion San Antonio Spurs on Thursday, March 20. The Bulls? home game against Orlando on December 31, will tip at 1:00 p.m., one of two matinee games at the United Center; Chicago?s game versus Phoenix at the UC on January 27 will begin at 12:00 p.m. In all, the Bulls will play eight day games this season, including a trip to Memphis on January 21 to honor Martin Luther King Jr. Day (4:30 p.m). The remaining day games include: Saturday, November 24 at New York (12:00 p.m.), Sunday, November 25 at Toronto (11:00 a.m.), Sunday, December 30 at New York (11:00 a.m.), Sunday, January 13 at Atlanta (1:00 p.m.) and Sunday, March 2 at Cleveland (12:00 p.m.). For the season, the Bulls will play 20 back-to-back sets. The team also will play four games in five nights on four occasions. Thanks for the information. We have the same .. well ok, at least very familiar schedule every season thanks mostly in part to the damn circus. Hopefully it won't be a bad effect this year as it has been over the last 9 years now.
We blew on that circus trip last season. Hopefully we get off to a great start when the season starts.
I don't think we'll do too badly in the road trip this season. Last season wallace was still getting used to the team. The years before wer were just inexperienced. This year I don't think we'll have that problem because the roster is pretty much the same and we're more experienced. However there might be a blockbuster trade between now and the road trips...
I thought we were gonna do fairly well on the circus trip this year because of Wallace, now I really just don't know. We're a year smarter and better at least, so hopefully we'll do slightly better than last year.
the circus trip doesnt bother me. its that damn month of feb. My birthday is in feb and I wanted to see a game but all of the games are road games. the only Teams I can see are the hornets nuggets and the Wiz. and those teams dont interest me.
