Who? I never heard of this dude. Is he a PG or SG? Well, maybe he can guard Garnett, because I don't know who else will.

He's a combo guard, who averaged 4.3 ppg for the Heat last season.

Oh, I'm sure Kidd could make him a 10 PPG guy. He proved Mikki Moore could get a big contract, maybe he can help out Hite too.

Good pick up. Not too expensive and we could use him as one of our back up point guards.

Yea, you guys need more depth at the PG position.

Well there's this guy named Jason Collins who did a number on Bosh last year and could probably slow down KG. Robert Hite? Whoop-dee-doo.

A number? Man, one or twice, Chris could still take Collins. Infact Collins and Bosh shouldn't be in the same sentece. Bosh and KG is a good match-up. KG and Collins is KG versus player number 5 on the floor.

    Blunt, but well said.

The Hite signing is about as insignificant as you can get. At the end of the day, he's a 6'2" small forward who can't run the point to save his life. He won't be used in any capacity other than as a practice dummy.

Not that any other free agent would do better though. The Nets have a stacked backcourt as is. They should be signing veteran post players, not young, undersized wings, especially when they just cut Hassan Adams.
