Rick Adelman's teams aren't very good on the road, and the Lakers play a lot better at Staples. It's also going to take more than just pre-season for the Rockets to adopt a new system, coaching style, and overall philosphy on how to play the game. The Rockets are going from a disciplinarian, conservative defensive guru, to a more offensive-friendly system, with less emphasis on defense. I expect a lot of confusion on the court for the Rockets in the first month. The Lakers on the other hand will be entering their 3rd season with PJax back without a lot of roster changes. The Lakers didn't really upgrade much in the offseason and on paper the Rockets have more talent, but the Lakers will have inner development and should have better chemistry. The Rockets have a lot of new faces on the team, and it will take players time to figure out their roles and how to effective in them.

Yao is the best because he is 7'6, I don't even consider him the best. He is not hard to stop. Nate proved that. Oden could muscle him easily, and don't into with VC again, if you read some paged where this started, you can see where VC showed that Oden could stop Yao, and they he will be the best defensive centre in the NBA.

The Legend v. Pakman for two weeks is official. Yao is going to get a lot of different looks with Bynum, Kwame, and Mihm. The Lakers 3-Headed monster should be able to neutralize Yao's contributions and wear him down.
