Rumor: Kobe Filing for Divorce?

The CBS local article uses MediaTakeOut as it's source though. But looks like there actually might be some truth to this story.

pre-nup only protects assets that were attained before marriage .. it does not protect assets attained during the marriage ... yeah kobe was rich before his marriage, but i imagine he made much much more during his marriage, so i dont think it's a big difference if he did or didnt get the pre-nup ..

pre-nups matter for people who made the bulk of their money prior to marriage and aren't likely to continue to make nearly as much

we want pre-nup..............we want pre-nup!!!!!!


I'm not a legal expert, but I can imagine that there are pre-nups that exist that do protect certain assets obtained during the actual marriage........either way we still want pre-nup!!!!

I was actually just doing some research and there are other forms of contracts that can be agreed to after marriage to protect certain assets.
