This will effectively eliminate the Clippers from any chance at the playoffs. The injury could also open up the opportunity for the Lakers to snipe away some veteran talent from the Clippers.

Sam Cassell? Cat Mobely? Tim Thomas?

^ I would take any of them, how would we get them then? Are we not full on the roster? If we can, would they sign for the vet's minimum.

We have to trade for them, none of them are free agents.

The only one I'd go for is Mobley, he'd be an awesome backup to Kobe. We need Cassell, another pg, and I hate Thomas.

I'd actually take Maggette, granted he hasn't been the same since his injury, I always liked his attack mentality and I think the dudes a hustler (the good kind). I'm afraid Mobley is gonna start jacking up shots and I'm afraid Cassel is gonna jack up years.

Don't it? Again, I highly respect Maggette and his game.

IND fans are saying on their radio show that the Clippers are now interested in Jermaine O'Neal.

Package involving maybe Maggette and Kaman.

That makes no sense for them. Do they want to turn their backs on Elton Brand? When he gets back, could a front court of Brand and Jermaine work? I don't think so, they'll clog the paint up.

Jermaine doesn't really play in the paint though, and both have a solid mid-range game. It's a smart move by the Clippers for the short and long term.

Man, if Cory gets traded to the Pacers, I bet you Laker fans will go a hole. No O'Neal, Garnett, no nothing.

This pretty much kills the Clipps chance of the playoffs. As for landing one of their vets, the one that would intrigue me most might be Cat Mobley. He's a great long range shooter and could be a great 6th man for us. Cassell is also an appealing thought, but I'm afraid that he's mostly done. He's been bothered by nagging injuries frequently these last couple years and I don't foresee him putting up huge numbers again. That said, he's still an upgrade over every point guard we have on our roster.
