The Heat is interested in Pietrus and is considering trades that involve players under contract. One deal discussed included the Warriors sending Peitrus and point guard Sarunas Jasikevicius to Miami for point guard Jason Williams. </div> Source
while i like the idea of adding both pietrus and jasikevicius, i dont want to lose j-will for them. without williams here, it likely means that smush will be the starting point guard, and i dont very much like that idea.
^ dont know if i want to give up halsem either, haha. hes just the PERFECT role player for this team. it mite even be an unfair trade for us if we lose UDon and get pietrus and jasikevicius.
I'd gladly move Pietrus + Rooney for Williams or Haslem but I don't see Miami going for it. Outside of that they have very little of interest, maybe Dorell Wright but I don't see them giving him up either, nor do I see him getting off the bench much if he were to come to GS.
If it were Barnes then I'd gladly give you guys J-Will. Haslem is a different story because he is the perfect complement for Shaq and Wade.
