<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">HOUSTON -- Rockets guard Rafer Alston was arrested early Sunday morning in downtown Houston on charges of assault and public intoxication, police said. Both charges against Ralston, 31, are misdemeanors, said Victor Senties, spokesman for the Houston police. Further details of the incident weren't available Sunday night. "We are aware of the situation and are attempting to get more details about the incident," Rockets General Manager Daryl Morey said in a statement. "While we do not have all the facts yet, it is nevertheless very disappointing to have one of our players involved with any police activity. We will continue working with the authorities in order to get to the bottom of the situation." Senties had no information about whether Ralston had been jailed or if the player had an attorney. A phone listing for Ralston could not immediately be located. The 6-foot-2 player out of Fresno State joined the NBA during the 1999-2000 season with Milwaukee. He signed with the Rockets in 2004 and averaged 13.3 points per game last season. </div> http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=2962693
TRADE HIM ALREADY!!! lol. I still apreciated his time with us though. He wasn't the perfect PG, but he was our best PG since Francis left. edit: ok i take that back. 2nd best after that ONE good season from Sura.
lol Who drinks Sunday Morning lol seriously...Rafer must be in depression. Either that or the article is vague in stating he stayed up all saturday night drinking and got caught the next morning.

Either way, this might as well be a quick ticket out of town for Rafer.
Alston should be traded. Not because of this, but because he is usless now. He should go back to the AND1 tour. Francis and James are to much for him, and with Brooks, were will he fit.
