Also a lot of people who keep saying Odom is no different from O'Neal, you need to realize that O'Neal wasn't 100% last season. Before last season the guy was easily averaging 20/10 numbers. So no, Odom is not the same as O'Neal just based on numbers. Then we have another thing to factor in with his defensive presence. http://www.82games.com/0607/06IND17D.HTM Lastly, we can look at his bpg and easily come to a conclusion. O'Neal would give us not only the much needed defense, but also a big body that gives us a shot blocking presence. And shape, that deal you proposed that was a comparison on the Wolves deal I would do in a heartbeat. We can easily get some people in free agency. One person that intrigues me is Chris Webber. PG - Fisher SG - Kobe SF - Walton PF - O'Neal C - Webber That's pretty fearsome imo.
o'neal and odom also have 2 different syles of play odom is more of a point foward while JO is more of a low-post jumper happy center. i believe that JO would make the lakers better than they are now. like kobe stated before he does not want to be there if they are trying to rebuild. if u guys don't get JO im sure kobe will be gone in the future.
I'll do any deal not involving Odom that way we could have Kobe/Odom/O'neal that will be really great but will probaly have to send guys like Cook and Radman that Indiana won't want.
I think this is going to be Laker's starting line up this year... PG Jordan SG KOBE SF Wolton PF O'neal C Jerome James

<div class="quote_poster">Dark Hero Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">I wouldn't never trade 2020 2nd round for Jerome Jones.</div> Was that a joke I didn't get? Well Lakers need to do something fast because Nets can offer RJ and Kritic for him and get him every fast in NJ.
The Joke is you can never have Wade and LeBron in the Knicks!Anyways i still think the Lakers have a better chance of landing him than the Nets but thats just my opinion.

Last thing Indiana wants is to face JO 4 times a year and possibly in future playoff series. Plus, I think JO would be more resistant to go to the Nets instead of LA.

Look, I know you love the Lakers cause of Kobe and all but we're talking about the Knicks. Madison Square Garden. The greatest city in America here. If you come to New York, I'll show you the city, you can see for yourself how we do it here.
