Round 1 Marquette over Chaminade Oklahoma St. over LSU Duke over Princeton Arizona St. over Illinois Round 2 Oklahoma St. over Marquette Duke over Arizona St. Championship Duke over Oklahoma St. Arizona St. is really a sleeper in this tournament for sure. They bring in a top 20 SG that is a flamethrower on the perimeter, add Eric Boateng, and Pendergraph has another year under his belt. This team is going to be reallly dangerous this year

Illinois is also not as strong as they usually are. They lost Carter, McBride, and Arnold, plus Jamar Smith and Brian Carlwell will be out for a while after that car crash and the DUI charges. They didn't recruit anyone special this year either. Just look at how weak their starting lineup is shaping up to be: Meacham/Frazier/Brock/Randle/Pruitt, with nothing but freshmen off the bench. They'll most likely be upset in the first round. Here are my predictions: Day 1 Marquette over Chaminade LSU over Oklahoma State Duke over Princeton Arizona State over Illinois Day 2 Marquette over LSU Duke over Arizona State Oklahoma State over Chaminade Illinois over Princeton Day 3 Marqutte over Duke LSU over Arizona State Illinois over Oklahoma State Princeton over Chaminade

Silver Man Wrote

Duke still isn't really that good. They will likely be worst than last year. IMO.
Their young team is one year older, and they're adding yet another top recruiting class. This year Duke will be by far better than last year's team, McRoberts isn't that big of a loss when you have Lance Thomas waiting in the wings
O yeah. I guess that you are right and also with Coach K being the coach they should be a bit better. I just don't seeing them that good this year or in March Madness.
If Duke had better point guard play they'd be a title contender again this season, but that's a huge if. Paulus is shaping up to be one of the worst four year starters in Duke history.
They'll still be competitive as hell though, because Coach K basically has his choice of five star recruits every year.

ASU will be improved, but they are very very young. Unless Pendergraph and Harden can average 18 per each, ASU wont be anywhere near the big dance. They were on pace for the worst season in Pac-10 history last year. James Harden isnt going to change that. The future is bright, and next year should be their coming out year.
