I've gone to the Verizon Center and the Madison Square Garden and my obvious choice would be the MSG. There's not many others I want to visit besides the Toyota Center and Staples Center. You guys?
i've only been to continental airlines arena (nets) and msg, and i love msg. like you said, i wouldnt mind going to staples, but right now msg is my favorite.
Toy center is really nice, but Staples looks nice...and I hear the American Airlines arena is really nice also....
i've been to Staples and MSG - MSG is the best cause it's right in the thick of things. Staples is in downtown L.A. but there's not a whole lot going on around there. MSG is smack in the middle the most crowded 10-block area of the entire country and that crowdedness and energy rubs off on the whole arena.
The Air Canada Centre is considered one of the better arenas in the league, partly because its so new. It doesn't have as awesome an atmosphere as MSG (the only other arena I've watched a game at), but it was pretty awesome during the playoffs.

I think they plan to put in an ESPN zone and a lot of other businesses. Staples Center is plush, but I liked the ambience better at the Great Western Forum. I've never been to MSG, but there's a lot of history in their arena. I'd imagine the Mavericks homecourt has a lot of cool stuff since Cuban likes to go all out.
American Airlines Arena is awesome. Your right near South Beach across the bridge and all the developing that's going on is really going to make it awesome. Lots of big buildings being built around it.
Definitely MSG. The Knicks have been playing at the current MSG building for almost 40 years - much longer than any team in the NBA. There's no atmosphere like the Garden. The fans are so live even when the Knicks are bad. There's no place like the Garden.
The Oracle itself sucks but the atmosphere with the fans is awesome. I think they upgraded the upper bowl in the offseason but nonetheless its still an old, outdated arena. That may be part of the reason its a hard place to play, the arena doesn't have all the flash and the bells and whistles of the shiny new arenas, with the rowdy fans its more unforgiving. Very much like the Oakland coliseum right next door, but that old school grittiness sort of plays right into the Raiders and A's styles.
<div class="quote_poster">Master Shake Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">The ACC, man is it gunna get wild next year.</div> Cameron Indoor? EDIT: Wait, ACC = Air Canada Centre? I got it now. No one outside of Toronto's going to catch that reference though. In the states, ACC = Atlantic Coast Conference (ie: Duke, North Carolina, Maryland, etc.). Anyway, I've never seen MSG, Staples, or Continental Airlines, but I can definitely attest to what's the worst - Philips Arena (ATL), with the FedEx Forum (MEM) being not too far behind. Both of them are probably more modern and up-to-date than a lot of NBA arenas, especially FedEx Forum, which was built about two years ago, but neither can attract fans to actually show up to the games.
Staples Center is really nice. But the best in Madison Square Garden i haven't been there but it looks great.
