" Reggie Miller is not the only former All-Star shooting guard considering a comeback. Allan Houston, one of the deadliest jump shooters of the past 15 years, is also looking to return to the NBA.

"It's something I'd like to do,'' Houston said in a telephone interview Thursday morning. "It's just a matter of getting myself back in game shape and getting used to playing again.'' "

Allan Houston is my favorite shooting guard of all-time and it would just be weird to see him wearing another jersey. Just like it would be weird to see Reggie Miller, my least favorite shooting guard of all-time, in another jersey. Anyway, wherever he decides to go, I'll be rooting for him and hopefully he can win a championship.

He retired because of injury right? I think he can be more productive then Miller. Houston should become a Knick again, I would love to see that.

I heard he's also interested in the Nets. Not really surprising, but I doubt the management will even bother looking at him. I love Houston, so I'm definitely curious about his return.

Yea, he is a great player. Just most of the time, players who come out of retirement, don't go to their former team.

Well, he used to be. He did retire because of his injuries, that's my only concern. I never questioned his game, but his knee injury really took a toll on him.

    It was knee problems, right?

Yea, that is what I can remember. I loved him, as a shooter, and a player. I knew, when he got the ball from behind the arc, it was in. I always tried to shoot like him, I even had his Jersey, then I sold it for 150 bucks. I remember his best season in 02-03. 22 per, 2 assists, 2 rebs, great season for him. Even in his last season, fulled with injuries he still averaged 12. He is a player I would want on my team any day.

Allan should return for another season. I'm pretty sure he didn't like the way he ended it when that knee injury of his, so he pretty much has nothing to lose if he returns. I always liked him playing for the Knicks. His jumper was so smooth, he never seemed to miss anywhere.

Boston could use any depth at the moment and Allan Houston would come off perfectly for them if Ray Allen was to get hurt.

Boston is going after Miller, so not in need of Houston. I rather have Houston, because without his injury, he could of still been playing.

Yeah, I know they're going after Reggie Miller but what happens if still ends up broadcasting on TNT? Why would they rather want Reggie though? He's 5 years older than H20 (Allan's 36), they both pretty much have the same playing style. Allan's been closer to winning a championship, so he's got more experience in the playoffs. I don't see why they don't go after him. If it's Allan's knee, then it's gotta be 100 percent right now.

I agree, 100%, but I'm not Danny Ainge. I rather have Houston, but they want Miller. Maybe they did try and get Houston, but he has other plans. Maybe a return to New York or maybe New Jersey[IMG]

I had friends who told me about it. And I saw highlights, but I wasn't a firm watcher like I'm now.

Houston pops out up top, down the lane, running jumper......... OFF THE FRONT RIM AND IN!

That was a great moment right there. The 8th seeded Knicks knocked off the #1 seeded Heat and eventually advanced to the Finals. I think people forget how clutch Houston was too. He was one of the most clutch players in the league when he was playing.
