I think rappers' names are better when they are plays on thier own name (i.e- 2Pac, Eminem), or just sound cool (I.e- Mobb Deep). Who the hell thought a name like Lil Boosie would be cool? Unless of course, the guy/girl's name is actually Boosie.

I thought I was the only one who noticed Rich Boy's downs syndrome forehead.

Rich Boy quit his study of engineering at Tuskegee University in order to concentrate on music. With a few demo releases, he was noticed by producer Polow Da Don (who had already produced numbers for Ludacris, Jamie Foxx and Fergie).

That is pretty damn impressive, the fact that he was studying engineering.

He should've stuck to engineering. He's going to be gone from the game very soon.

I dont know why everyone is so quick to jump all over Joe about this, Big Pun did it just as much, and no one ever brings him up. Infact the whole Terror Squad, and other Latino acts like Cypress Hill use the 'N word' in their music. Thats not even counting all those underground Cholo's out West who do it.

Everybody at my highschool said the N-Word all the time (93% Hispanic school btw) and none of the black people minded. People aren't so uptight and sensitive about that word in Miami.

Maybe people get annoyed that he uses the word to make absolutely terrible music. I know I'm offended and I'm not even black. [IMG]

Lol, he does look like him. I think it is Ken Griffy Jr. if I can remember the episode correctly. It was when Mr. Burn created a soft ball team. He had like Ken, Roger Clemens, Strawberry, Jose Consenco, some other famous players. Good episode.

Jim Jones clothes are too small for him...

I like 50's older music, but dude is a sellout these days...I dislike him.

I dislike all those dance rappers...

I don't really have a strong dislike for rappers like some people though, I'm not that type of dude.

I'll always hold a soft spot for Joe, he's actually done alot for Hip-Hop, without him there would've been no Big Pun or Terror Squad, likely no D.I.T.C either.

    You gotta respect that.

Yeah, I am over 50 cent now, his first album rocked but the rest have been garbage.
    Lil Jon is wack too.

There are not a whole lot of great rappers out there anymore, it is very watered down. Gone are the days of BIG, Pac, Rakim, KRS, Jay Z, early Mobb Deep etc. It has all become commercialised crap. Give me Talib, Pharaoe Monch, Common, Kanye, Mos Def etc. Even Nas and Jay Z, but not much else.

Not likely, well they wouldnt be the same as what they were. It'd be like the Wu-Tang Clan without U-God, no one really valued him very much, yet that was Wu-Tang, with him in the group.

D.I.T.C's album had some TS appearances on a few songs too, so that would'nt have happened either.

Absolutle rubbish, you're just not searching in the right places.

Check out Murs, Little Brother, Foreign Exchange, Zion I, Kenn Starr, Strange Fruit Project, One.Be.Lo, Juggaknots, Living Legends, Skyzoo for some quality recent releases. Thats only just scraping the surface.
