Well what do you expect. Madden is like this every year. They make a couple of changes here and there, but in the end, it's basically like their previous games. I used to get caught up in the Madden hype all the time, but I finally realized it's not worth it to spend more 50 dollars when you can wait a bit later and it later for like half the price

Would you guys recommend NCAA 2008 or Madden?

    NCAA.

I've rented both over the past two weeks and I enjoyed NCAA way more. If you get a roster update for Madden 07, you've basically got the same game.

I bought the game this morning.

Pretty good other than a possible glitch.

I noticed when kicking the ball off (start of the game or after a score by the other team) that you could have the perfect kick lined up and 3/5 times the ball will go out of bounds and the other team will get the ball at the 40 yard line.

No, this isnt me because the funny thing is that when the computer kicks the ball it does the same thing.

    I'm playing the PS2 version.

    Anyone else notice this problem?

Graphics look pretty good on the 360 but things are kind of the same.

Not me. Anybody else find it really easy to return kickoffs for TD's? I did it twice in one game. (I'm playing with PS2 as well).

It's always been easy for me. [IMG]

In my first game I got 8 interceptions! [IMG]

I was playing on Pro level though. Looks like I need to turn it up.

Even the highest difficulty in Madden is a joke. Have they made the game more difficult this year?

    I'll probably won't get this game until I get a PS3.

I actually find it easier. Brandon Jacobs can't be stopped by the computer so far.

If you have played a Madden game before you're not missing out on much.

I was pretty hyped about the whole new generation consoles and stuff. Maybe I should rent it for my PS3 before jumping into it.

So far the only game that has really impressed me for the 360 and PS3 is Fight Night.

Yeah. It's probably better on other systems but on PS2 it's eh. The fantasy mode is the coolest part.

N4S, I've noticed that too about the kickoffs. It's gay as hell and it messes up a lot for me too.

And Legacy, I have LT on my fantasy team and I always run over guys with the highlight stick.

In my last game, he had 24 broken tackles, no joke. He's a beast.

Its an improvement from last year's horrible game. Good, not great. I've been playing on All-Pro and I'm 5-0 in my franchise but at least three of those were close (one was in OT). Then again I'm playing with the Raiders so that probably makes it more challenging.
