Anyone who watched that game knows the bears will win super bowl this year. It is over. hand them the trophy. No one is going to be able to compete with this team.

If the Bears were the only team in the NFL this year, they'd still find a way to lose the Superbowl. That's how much they suck.

so therefore the Packers would be even worse looking at that "great game" the Pack played today... lol

hey all i can say is that the Jets have the same record as the Bears and therefore must be equally matched or since the Jets beat a better team (which is sad cause they played the Titans) the Jets must be better. lol i'm gonna be sayin shit like this all week. u cant say anything back because the Jets have the same record [IMG]

You are making this judgement off of the game against Green Bay? Sorry if I don't buy your silly water.

I got news for everyone Season is not over yet, THe Packers have played ONE game and lost it to the better team today no doubt about it, they simply got punished and out played. However correct me if Im wrong was it not the New England Patriots who lost to the Buffalo Bills in shut out week one a couple years ago, who then proceeded to win the Superbowl?

I thought they just missed playoffs that season.

Lets be realistic. Packers arent going to compete with farve in as starting QB. If the coach has balls he will start rogers and see what he can do.

    I hope that's not a prediction. :/

Yes, it is just week one, but Green Bay is simply bad this year. Your defense actually looks pretty good (the score didn't do them justice), but the offense is stinking up the field. I nearly fell off the couch when Favre considered throwing after he fell down from being tripped up by his center - would he really even think about doing that?

I think the predictions for this team are correct - 4 - 6 wins for the season. They'll pull out a couple of good ones, but I don't see things turning around for them.

On a different note, Chicago did look good, and Grossman was fairly impressive. Bears fans do have a reason to be excited.

No note a prediction, just some stats to reinforce my view, I just don't think you can judge a team until maybe week 3 or 4 sometimes even later than that.

And to answer BF1, The Packers will ALWAYS COMPETE with Favre behind center, Aaron Rodgers is far from ready, next around this time it'll be another Story.

I still dont know why you dont bring him in 2nd half and get him some game xp. He needs it. he is future. No they wont always compete with farve. They are no longer a contender for title. As long as he is under center for rest of career they wont be.

Favre played alot more conservative then last year, his 2 INTs came when they were already down 26-0... He didn't try and force the ball, even on 3rd an long situations. There's alot of young players on the team and this game served as a wake up call, the regular season is much different then the pre-season, and now they need to put it behind them and give New Orleans a beating like last year [IMG] I'm not predicting a Super Bowl or anything, but I am saying a playoff run is still possible, then again, a playoff run is still possible for every team in the NFL...
