Aug 15 - Sacramento hasn't ruled out trading point guard Mike Bibby, and now views the Heat as a potential partner if it does, an NBA official said. The Heat would give up Jason Williams, but whether Miami would move Udonis Haslem in such a deal is questionable. Bibby, due $13.5 million and $14.5 million the next two seasons, could be packaged with forwards Kenny Thomas or Shareef Abdur-Rahim. We hear Miami has made a pitch to former Heat power forward P.J. Brown, with Dallas and Phoenix also interested. But agent Mark Bartelstein said Brown hasn't decided whether to retire. Miami is seeking help at power forward behind Haslem because Antoine Walker will play a lot at small forward, and it isn't sure about Wayne Simien. SOURCE: http://insider.espn.go.com/nba/features/rumors For as cautious as Pat Riley was in his discussion of Mickael Pietrus, the Warriors' restricted free agent, the fact that he didn't summarily dismiss interest in the Golden State forward spoke volumes. For now, all we know is Pietrus' agent is planning to meet Wednesday with Warriors Vice President Chris Mullin. Pietrus' camp also is hopeful of a face-to-face meeting with Riley. Having spent a portion of its mid-level exception on Smush Parker, the Heat no longer is in position to exceed the Warriors' $3.5 million qualifying offer to the athletic defender. So any acquisition would have to come via sign and trade. SOURCE: http://insider.espn.go.com/nba/features/rumors yeah, theyre both from the espn nba rumor central.
i was just messing around with the espn trade machine and this trade succeeded: To Miami: Ron Artest Mike Bibby To Sacramento: Jason Williams Antoine Walker Michael Doleac I personally like this trade a lot. What do you guys think about it?
Sacremento can get A LOT more for both Mike Bibby and Ron Artest. That deal has no chance of going down

Also they're going to start rebuliding, why would they want older players coming in like Walker and an injury prone player in J Will.

to be honest with you, i completely forgot to consider sacramento's part of the deal. now that i look back at it, i feel like an idiot haha. still would be nice for miami, but completely sucks for sactown. my bad, lmfao.
