The Eagles looked good today. Stallworth looked great. So did Westbrook. Andy called a nice game as well. Dallas lost which is a plus if you are an Eagles fan - they can be definitely beat. The Giants game tonight should be interesting. And the matchup for next week will be a real challenge.

If the key players (i.e. Donovan, Westbrook) can stay healthy I really think the Eagles can be a contender.

Stallworth appears to be a great pickup.

Philly's D had a down year last year. I think Howard & Bunkley will help solidfy a formidable unit. Jimmie Johnson is defensive mastermind IMO.

I heard McCoy and not Trotter is the starting MLB. Is this true?

    i wouldnt think/hope so.

i thought McNabb played masterfully. i thought his fake to Stallworth was one of the better fakes ive seen.... Stallworth was so wide open it was scary.

the 5 sacks on Carr (although shocking) helped in the win too.

this is a big win even though it wasnt one of the leagues best teams i think next week is going to be a real big challenge for them and i hope to see the same performance from stallworth...the announcers were right it looked like him and mcnabb had been working together for many years.

Lol! More overreaction! Please remember they did this to a bad Houston defense. One of the worst defenses in the league!!

As bad as the defense is for Houston the offense is an even bigger mess minus DD.

Well the zEagles started out badly but they definetly whooped the Texans after the first quarter. Stallworth looks like he could be the #1 WR they were looking for.

now thats the kind of eagles i like to watch play. I mean the game was against the texans, and it did look scary in the begining but i think it was all butterflys. Donovan is doing great and i dont know about u guys but i think he might run some this year. I heard he dropped like 40 pounds and if he starts runing that would be another threat. But stallworth and donovan looked liek they have been playing together for a long time. And westbrook looked good runing and catching the ball. Buckhalter who is finally healthy looked ok also i like how he can run over the defence and he if just pushes forward instead of stoping and waiting for a whole i think he might do some good for the offense to. And the defense played flawless in the second half.

I was really happy to see how the Eagles played on Sunday, although the Texans aren't a great team they have a vastly improved team from the last year. If they could ever get Carr some consistent protection...

Anyways, leading the division after week 1 is great, even better is watching all the other teams in the division lose. Hopefully we can pull a win vs. the Giants this weekend.
