1.How did you discover JBB and what has made you stay to become such a valued member?

I discovered JBB a while ago. I joined on January 2005, which means I?ve been a registered member for approximately 2 years, which may or may not be a long time, depending on your opinion. I don?t exactly remember how I found JBB, it was during the NBA season though, and at that time I was still living in Philadelphia, so I believe I was searching for Sixers rumors or something on Google, and I stumbled across this site. My stay on JBB has been great and I have no plans of leaving. I love JBB because I love basketball, and this is a great place to talk basketball with a lot of other knowledgeable fans from across the globe.

    2. If you could plan a seven cities tour trip anywhere in the World, where you go and why?

A seven cities tour trip anywhere in the World? That?s a tough one. I must admit, I don?t know too much about geography, so bare with me.....

I?d definitely start out somewhere in China, maybe Beijing. I went to Beijing a couple of years ago, and it?s a great city. There?s a lot of historic sites, and the city alone is so different from anywhere in the US. Then I?d probably venture down to Honk Kong, the Las Vegas of China because it?s a beautiful city. After that I?d probably fly to Tokyo, which is somewhere I?ve always wanted to go. I?ve seen pictures of the city and it looks like a very beautiful city, plus, I?ve never been to Japan. Then, I?d probably go somewhere in Europe, probably London and Paris. I?ve never been to Europe before either, but my parents have. They said the country?s a great place to visit and that I should go there someday when I?m older. Plus, I?ve always wanted to After London and Paris, I?d continue my journey to the Bahamas. I?m not familiar with any of the cities in the Bahamas, but a nice vacation on the beach will definitely be fun. My next destination after the Bahamas will be New York City. I love New York, I?ve been there 3 times, and I?ll gladly admit New York City is a lot better than Los Angeles, by far. After New York, I?d fly back to the west, and probably finish my vacation in Las Vegas. That?s probably not the best, or the most interesting trip, but it seems good to me.

    3. You're actually Brian from Family Guy, aren't you? Admit it!

Naw, I?m Brian Dawkins from the Philadelphia Eagles!

    <font size=""3"">kobimel

    1. Who would you want on the Lakers and which players would you trade for him? (Be realistic, please)

Realistically speaking, probably Jermaine O?Neal. Jeramine O?Neal, unlike Kevin Garnett, has actually stated that he wants to come play in Los Angeles. The Lakers have also had talks with the Pacers before the draft about Jermaine O?Neal as well. A realistic package would probably be Andrew Bynum, Kwame Brown (9 million expiring), Javaris Crittenton or Jordan Farmar, Maurice Evans or Sasha Vujacic (expiring), plus future first round picks. I?m not sure if the Pacers will accept though, Larry Bird is being a little biatch.

    2. Any reason why you picked your name as your username?

Not really, I just thought it would be cool for people on JBB to call me by my real name, that?s all. I may change it in the near future though

    3. If you could be a star at any sport other than basketball, which sport would you pick?

If I could be a star at any sport other than basketball, I?d probably pick football, because that?s my second favorite sport behind basketball. I?d probably be the second coming of Devin Hester because of my speed. Haha.

    <font size=""3"">Smitty

    1. Name some of the best things you like about where you live.

Well, I love the weather. The sun?s usually always shining outside, so I don?t get the gloomy, depressed days, that I used to get when I was back in Philadelphia. Also, the weather here in SoCal this summer has actually been pretty decent. My past summers usually consisted of sweating my butt off in the afternoon and maybe going somewhere like the mall to cool off. This summer has actually been pretty cool for the most part. I don?t think we?ve used air conditioning in a while, although it?s recently starting to heat up a bit.

    2. Lakers and Sixers in the finals again, who are you rooting for?

That depends where I?m living. If I?m living here in SoCal, then I?d probably root for the Lakers, but if I move back to the Philadelphia area, then I?d probably root for the Sixers. If I?m living somewhere like Alaska, then it just depends on who?s on the roster. As of now I?d probably say the Lakers because Kobe Bryant is my favorite player, but if he gets traded, then who knows. Anyways, both teams probably won?t get back to the Finals for another 20 years at this rate.

3.What would you have done differently in the whole trading Iverson saga?

At first I didn?t like the trade at all. Andre Miller, Joe Smith, and 2 mid 1st round draft picks didn?t satisfy me at all. I was pissed we couldn?t have gotten someone like JR Smith, who is still very young and very talented. I wish we could have gotten a little bit more of Iverson, but what?s done is done. I?m over the trade now, the draft landed us great young prospects in Thaddeus Young, Jason Smith, Derrick Byars, and Herbert Hill. Looking back, I probably would have made the same exact trade. Good job Billy King

    <font size=""3"">The Dream

    1. Who did you root for when the lakers and sixers matched up back in '01

I wasn?t even a big Sixers fan back then, I only liked Allen Iverson, who at one point was my favorite player, even ahead of Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O?Neal. I remember back in elementary school, we used to play ?NBA? at recess. That?s when we?d have a group of guys at the basketball courts, and we played a game of basketball, except we pretended to be NBA stars. Shaq and Kobe were always chosen first, and I never got to pick first or second, so I always chose Allen Iverson, because I thought he looked the coolest with the cornrows, the tattoos, and the headbands and stuff. [IMG] Anyways, I only started liking the Sixers when I moved to Philadelphia in the 04-06 seasons, so I was definitely rooting for the Lakers

    2. Do I really like Ne-Yo?

Do you really like Ne-Yo? Do you like Chris Brown?

    3. Name 5 current "elite" NBA players. who you think will retire without a title or in Kobe's case another title.

5 current elite NBA players? I don?t exactly know if they are considered ?elite,? but here are some stars that I think will retire without a ring. Jason Kidd, sadly. I want the guy to retire a champion, he had a chance to go play for the Spurs a couple of seasons ago, but returned to the Nets. Hopefully he?ll go to a contending team before his career ends, or hopefully the Nets can him more solid pieces to work with to contend for a championship. Allen Iverson will also probably retire without a ring. I think the Nuggets are the last stop of his career, and although they have some solid pieces, they don?t have enough to match up against the top notch teams of the west, like Dallas, San Antonio, and Phoenix. Tracy McGrady will also probably retire without a ring (no offense), but he?s never advanced past the first round, even though he had a great chance to last season. The Rockets made some great moves in the offseason, but they still don?t rank ahead of Dallas, Phoenix, and San Antonio. McGrady?s back is a huge concern. I don?t know how well he?ll continue holding up before calling it quits, or taking a lesser role on the team because of the injury. I can?t really think of any more stars right now. Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett would have been at the top of my list, but we all know that both of them now have a great chance at acquiring the ring. Guys like Lebron James, Dwight Howard, and Chris Bosh still have years ahead of them, with tons of chances to win the championship.

    4. Do people in Philly really love Philly cheese steaks?

I don?t know, I guess they do. Ask Smitty!

    5. Do you really like Philly cheese steaks?

I like Philly cheese steaks, but I don?t LOVE them. I?ve tried one before, and it was pretty good. If you want to try a Philly cheese steak though, get one from Philly, not those Philly cheese steak burgers they sell at Carl?s Jr, or the sandwiches they sell at Subway. Those are gross.

    6. I personally feel Donavan McNabb is underrated as hell, in your opinion should he be in the HOF?

I think Donavan McNabb is one of the best quarterbacks in the league. I?d rank him 3rd behind Payton Manning and Tom Brady when healthy. McNabb is the best quarterback in the NFC, but injuries have really hurt his career and legacy. If he can be as durable as Manning and Brady, I don?t think he will be underrated anymore. McNabb also hasn?t had a lot of receivers to work with. His primary receivers for a large chunk of his career were Todd Pinkston and Freddie Mitchell, both of whom are now out of the league. That was why Eagle fans were so happy when we first acquired Terrell Owens. We finally gave McNabb a great weapon to work with, but of course the honeymoon was short lived. Last season before McNabb was injured, he was having arguably the best season of his life with a bunch of ?no name receivers.? I?m excited for the upcoming season, and if McNabb can stay healthy, I feel the Eagles have a great chance of making the Super Bowl. As if whether or not he should be in the HOF, I think he still has a couple of years under his belt, so I don?t think it would be too fair to judge him now, but if it were up to me, I?d probably say yes.

    7. How much wood could a wood chuck chuck if a wood chuck could chuck wood?

How much rap could THE DREAM listen to before he turns to rock.

    <font size=""3"">Mamba

    1. Do you enjoy your new calculator?

I don?t know. It?s a cool calculator and it will help me a lot in the future. It?ll make doing my math homework a lot easier. I just wish I hadn?t lost, or someone hadn?t stolen my other graphing calculator. I also wish my parents would have calmed down a bit instead of yelling their heads off at me, but it?s cool.

    2. That same question sbout Kaman's balls, Reggie Evans, Sam, money, and Mitch.

Um, yeah. For a million dollars and chance to kill Mitch Kupchak and Jim Buss? I won?t think twice. It?s ten minutes bro, then minutes. After I win my million dollars, I can always go to therapy or something

    3. Future aspirations?

Well, as of now, I?m hoping to get good grades, and get more involved at my school next year. I?m hoping I can get into a good college, like one of the UC?s. UC Irvine, UC Santa Barbara, and UC Riverside are my targets. I view UC Berkley and UCLA like how a Laker fan views Kevin Garnett. In my future after schooling, I?m hoping to start and run my own little business. Maybe something involving coffee or something, so I can blow up like Starbucks!

    <font size=""3"">CLos

1, Why are you so random??

    Me? Random?? Nah....

    2. Your All-Star team starting five

    pg: Jason Kidd
    sg: Kobe Bryant
    sf: Lebron James
    pf: Kevin Garnett
    c: Tim Duncan

    3. Would you ever become a Clips fan?

I actually used to be a a Clipper fan during the 2000-2002 seasons, when they had guys like Darius Miles, Lamar Odom, Quentin Richardson, Elton Brand, Corey Maggette, and Keyon Dooling. They actually used to be a young, exciting team to watch back then. But after the 2002 season, most of the core players left because Donald Sterling was determined to save as much money as possible. After that, my interest in the Clippers pretty much vanished, and I just started focusing on one Los Angeles basketball team, the Lakers.

Btw, had Kobe signed with the Clippers, I probably would have become a Clippers/Lakers fan once again, but that?s never going to happen.

    <font size=""3"">The Legend

    1. Where do you rank Kobe all time?

I?m not good with all time rankings, so I don?t know how accurate I will be. Anyways, if it were up to me, a Laker fan, and a Kobe fan, I?d probably put him in the top ten. But realistically, when it?s all said and done, I would think Kobe would be ranked top 15, at least top 20. Kobe also has not showed any signs of slowing down, so unless he gets in a freak accident, or gets a serious injury, I think he still has a good 3 to 4 years left playing at this level.

    2. Why does it say you are are Kool-Aid Boy?

Um, I don?t know. Why does it say you are The Legend?

    3. How much do you hate Smush Parker?

I don?t hate Smush Parker, I love him. Okay, just kidding. But yeah, I hate Smush Parker, he is an ungrateful idiot and I think he should go back to playing Euro-basketball. Too bad the Miami Heat had to sign him though, I feel bad for Pat Riley, he?s probably going to take another mid-season break, and then lose all his hair because of this idiot who goes by the name ?Smush.? I don?t know why he calls himself ?Smush,? but he is an idiot, so I am not surprised. Hopefully Shaq tackles him in practice

    <font size=""3"">Karma

    1. Who do you think should/will win the poll for the next UTM out of the three candidates listed?

Well, Umair doesn?t need any help, so I?ll vote for Blur, I guess....

    2. Do you consider yourself to be the funniest member of JBB? (I think you're one of the funniest but that's just me)

The funniest member of JBB? I don?t think so, but thanks for having a sense of humor to enjoy my jokes.

    3. Imagine that you didn't like Kobe or the Lakers. Would the amount of attention and response he garners make you dislike him even more?

I don?t think I?d hate Kobe, but I probably wouldn?t be a fan either. Nobody likes having someone single handily dominating their team each and every game.

3b. Did you finally figure out how to make Kool-Aid?

Yeah, like a year ago. You?re really late Karma

3c. What's funnier, your Mcdonalds thread, your Kool-Aid Thread or the classic Umair pornstache (that apperently no longer exists)?

The McDonalds and Kool-Aid threads are overplayed. They are done. The joke is done. Nobody thinks it?s funny anymore except for a select few, who are immature. Umair?s pornstache though, is hilarious. You can keep laughing at that [IMG]

    <font size=""3"">Chutney

    1. Have you ever had an idea for a thread that you thought was too stupid/random to post? If so, what was it?

Well, there?s a random thought thread now, so that kind of helps. I?ve also only made two random threads, McDonalds and Kool-Aid. It?s not like I?ve made fifty billion random threads

    2. Predict the Atlantic Division at the end of the season.

    Atlantic Division Standings:

    1. Boston Celtics - The trio of Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett, and Ray Allen is going to go places. They may not be able to win a championship this season, but I definitely see them being a 50 win team and a top team in the East.

    2. Toronto Raptors ? The Raptors finished first in the division last year. They haven?t really made much improvements, but they haven?t exactly gotten worse either. The team is led by superstar Chris Bosh, and has a ton of quality depth.

    3. New Jersey Nets ? The Nets improved in the offseason by signing former All-Star Jamaal Maglorie, and getting Nenad Kristic back healthy. They?ll play along with Jason Kidd, Richard Jefferson, and Vince Carter for one exciting starting lineup. Unfortunately, I don?t see them finishing ahead of the Raptors (although it may be possible, and I won?t be surprised if it happened), and I sure as hell don?t see them beating out the Celtics.

    4. New York Knicks ? The Knicks traded for Zach Randolph, and will get some players back from injuries. Whoop-dee-doo. They?re still a team with little to no chemistry, and they still haven?t fixed up their defense with a possible starting line up consisting of Stephon Marbury, Jamaal Crawford, Eddy Curry, and Zach Randolph. That line up is a defensive disaster. I don?t expect the Knicks to make the playoffs this year, they?ll probably end up as the 10th or 9th seed, 9th seed at best in my opinion.

    5. Philadelphia 76ers ? The gameplan: tank, lose, tank, lose, draft OJ Mayo to be the savior of the franchise. The 76ers will finish last in the division and will probably be one of the worst teams in the entire league.

    <font size=""3"">Dark Hero

1.Your reaction when Iverson got traded?

I wasn?t really surprised. Like I said earlier, rumors about Allen Iverson getting traded has gone on for years, and considering how our team was going nowhere at that moment, it wasn?t whether or not Iverson?s going to get trade, it was when. Although I wasn?t surprised about the trade, I was sad to see someone like Iverson leave. He?s given his 110% each and everyday on the court, destroying his body every game in order to get the win. He?s been with the franchise through the ups and downs, and he?s been the face of the franchise for many seasons. It was sad to see him finally leave, even though it was expected. Allen Iverson is one special, unique player, and there won?t ever be another player like him.

    2.So are you really Asian?

Yes I?m really Asian. Why would I lie about my ethnicity?

3.Bynum or Odom which one will you prefer to stay with the Lakers if they were or are going to trade for JO?

If we were to trade of Jermaine O?Neal, the trade won?t be completed unless Andrew Bynum is added into a package. But either way, I?d definitely choose Lamar Odom over Andrew Bynum if we?re planning on winning now. Andrew Bynum is just another ?potential? guy. He?s got tons of potential, but who knows if he?ll ever live up to it. By the time we finally figure out what type of player Bynum really is, Kobe Bryant and Jermaine O?Neal will probably be past their primes. Lamar Odom is a known entity, and although us Laker fans have given him a lot of heat in the past, he is perfect as a third option. The guy can score, rebound, pass, and make plays. A trio of Kobe Bryant, Jermaine O?neal, and Lamar Odom will definitely be able to compete with the top teams of the NBA.

    <font size=""3"">Legacy

    1. Favorite Laker role player of all time? (Rick Fox, Derek Fisher, Robert Horry, etc)

My favorite Laker role player of all time? Good question. It?s pretty hard for me to pick one because all the players on our roster during the championship runs all contributed in some form and way. I loved Rick Fox because he was a tenacious defender, a tough nosed player, and was great in his Ford commercials. Derek Fisher always came up big for us during the clutch, as did Big Shot Rob (obviously). It?s hard for me to pick one, but if I had to, I?d probably pick Robert Horry, and I?m sure any other Laker fan would do the same. Horry is quite possibly the clutchest player to ever play the game. He?s filled me and all Laker fans with tons of memories by hitting clutch shots over and over again in the playoffs. The guy has ice in the veins. Literally.

    2. So do you know how to make kool aid yet?

Yeah, you?re a bit late on this one bro....

    3. Favorite meal from McDonalds?

    <font size=""3"">Master Shake

    1. If Mcdonalds brought back the McRib, would you eat 10 a day?

No, because I?m not a fatass. I?d probably eat like 3 a week though, because those things are good, and they?re tiny.

    2. If Kool-Aid was banned from the States, and only allowed in Canada, but the only way you could Error! Hyperlink reference not valid. it was to come to Canada, become a Raptor fan, and you had to watch the Raptors murder the Sixers 4 times a year, would you come?

Um, no. Kool-Aid isn?t even that good. I?d forget about Kool-Aid and start drinking Hi-C.

    3. Would you prefer Kool-Aid made by Simpson or Alba?

I don?t think Jessica Simpson is smart enough to make Kool-Aid, she?d probably get the sugar and salt mixed up, so probably Jessica Alba.

    <font size=""3"">Umair

    1. When did you first pick up a basketball? Explain it please.

I first picked up a basketball when I was around 5 years old. I used to stay home during the day with my grandparents, and my grandpa is a huge basketball fan. I was born in Chicago, so he?d watch the Chicago Bulls every time they were on. I remember we used to have one of those miniature basketball hoops in our living room and I used to dunk on it and stuff when the game was on, pretending I was Jordan or Pippen.

    2. Do you think Rockets are going to win the first game of the season against the Lakers? (I have a bet with Shape on this).

Do I think the Rockets will beat the Lakers? No. Do I think the Lakers are better than the Rockets? No. The Rockets are the better team, obviously. But with new additions like Steve Francis, Mike James, and Luis Scola, you guys are going to need some time to mesh together. It will take a couple of games to get the chemistry flowing, meanwhile, the Lakers will probably come into next season with the same exact roster, so chemistry will probably not be an issue. I honestly doubt the Rockets will beat us, but we?ll see. Either way, it?s not going to be any easy game by any means.

    3. How do you see Lakers this coming year? Playoffs?

If we come into the season with the same exact roster, and assuming we stay relatively healthy, we are probably going to make the playoffs as the 8th or 7th seed, led by Mr. Bryant. When we?re in the playoffs, we?re probably going to lose in 4 or 5, unless Andrew Bynum emerges and averages 20 and 10.

    <font size=""3"">J_Ray

    1. What's the main ingredient for kool-aid?

The main ingredient for Kool-Aid is water, because without water, there is no Kool-Aid.

    2. What has kool-aid done to your life?

Kool-Aid has done nothing to my life except making me fatter and destroying my health because of all the sugar. **** Kool-Aid!

    3. What's your favorite flavor of kool-aid?

    Cherry is the best! [IMG]

    <font size=""3"">Mag

    1. Most beautiful woman in the world is. . Why?

Most beautiful woman? That?s a hard one. Jessica Alba is #1 on my ?hot women list,? so I?m going to have to go with her. I know she usually wears a lot of makeup though, but she?s the only person I can think of at this moment....

    2. Who is cooler, Ronald McDonald or the Kool-Aid man?

Ronald McDonald because he is a clown

    3. Ever ask for Kool-Aid at McDonald's?

No, because they don?t serve Kool-Aid at McDonalds. Duh!

    <font size=""3"">Silky Smooth

    1. Classic hip hop question: Nas or Jay-Z? Why?

For me, definitely Nas. To be honest with you, I?ve never been that big of a fan of Jay-Z for whatever reason. I know he is a great rapper, and he?s one of the best rappers of all time, but I?ve never been a big fan (don?t hurt me). On the other hand, I have always loved Nas and he has always been one of my favorites. His first album, Illmatic, is probably the best album I have ever listened to. I can listen to it again and again and again, and still not get sick of. I definitely rank Illmatic ahead of Reasonable Doubt and Blueprint. But this is obviously just my opinion, and I?m sure everyone has their own, so don?t hurt me

    2. Whens the last time you got into a fist fight with somebody...what happened?

I?m not really a fighter. If you ask anyone who knows me, they?ll tell you that I?m a pretty nice guy. I usually get along with most of the people I meet, so I?ve never really been in a huge fistfight or anything. The only ?fight? I?ve ever gotten into was back in elementary school, 3rd or 4th grade. There was this one kid who kept calling me names and stuff because I used to go to a daycare after school, and I guess it was considered ?uncool.? Anyways, I finally got sick of it, so when we were playing basketball at recess, and I saw him walking by, I chucked the basketball at his stomach. I guess he got pissed and whatever and he started running up to me swinging left and right and everything. The fight only lasted like 10 seconds because the yard duties were near by, and they were breaking it up. I think he got me twice, but I?m not exactly sure how many punches I landed.

    3. Would you ever pull a 'CURTISSSSSSSSSS' on somebody?

    What does that mean?

    <font size=""3"">Skillz

    1. Whose your pick for the Superbowl?

The Eagles will come out of the NFC, and the Patriots will come out of the AFC. The Eagles and the Patriots will meet once again in the Superbowl, and this time, the Eagles will win with an upset, led by Brian Dawkins and Takeo Spikes of the beastly defense, crushing the Pats 32-6

    2. Whose your NBA ROY?

I?m guessing it will probably be between Kevin Durant and Greg Oden. My vote goes to Durant because I feel he is more NBA ready than Oden. I think he has a great chance of averaging close to 20 points per game, and at the end of the day, I think offense if valued more over defense in these NBA awards, so I?ll have to go with Durant on this one.

    Do you have a Boyfriend?

    Do you have herpes?

    <font size=""3"">Asian Zero

    1. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

In 5 years I?ll have graduated high school and will probably be a junior in college, hopefully in a pretty good college so I?ll have a bright future. I?m praying I?ll be able to make it into one of the UC?s.

    2. What are your top 3 movies?

My top 3 movies are Rush Hour, Rush Hour 2, and Rush Hour 3. Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker maaaaaaannnn!

    3. Where do the Wizards rank in the East?

I think the Wizards are one of the top teams in the East if they can stay healthy. I love Nick Young and he will be a great player for you guys. I was hoping he would slip down to the 19th pick so the Lakers could snatch him up, but unfortunately that didn?t happen. He would have been a lottery pick in ?regular? NBA drafts. A trio of Gilbert Arenas, Caron Butler, and Antwaan Jamison ranks among the top trios in the entire league. I think the Wizards will have a great chance of finishing as a top 3 seed in the East next season.

    <font size=""3"">Blur

    1. If a tree falls in the woods and no one is around to hear it does it make a sound?

Well, the animals can still hear it, so I guess it does.

    2. Which would be worse for you, having seen AI traded or Kobe traded (if it happens)?

Well, when Allen Iverson was traded, it was pretty much expected. There has been trade talk going around for the past couple of seasons, plus the team was really struggling at that point, and they weren?t going to get anywhere soon. So trading away Iverson wasn?t shocking to me at all, it was just a matter of when it was going to happen. Kobe on the other hand, hasn?t been mentioned in trade talks every single season, and I?m sure he surprised us all when he first demanded a trade. Kobe is probably the best player in the entire league and one of the best players to ever play the game, and considering I live in Laker territory, and watch practically every single Laker game, I?m going to have to say Kobe. It?s a different feeling when you get to watch all 82 games instead of the 4 or 5 games broadcasted on ESPN.

    3. Lakers without Kobe, 76ers without AI, who is better?

The Lakers without Kobe are nothing. 76ers without AI still have Andre Iguodala, and some decent role players in Andre Miller and Kyle Korver, so I?m definitely going to have to say the 76ers, although you could make an argument for the Lakers because they beat the Suns in the season opener without Kobe.

Bonus question: Why can't I ever win a UTM poll?

You can?t win a UTM poll because you make Bryant Gumbel look like Malcolm X.

    <font size=""3"">THE DREAM

    8. Have you ever tried mixing your kool-aid?...if not then I suggest doing so

(More questions from THE DREAM?? WTF??) Yes, I?ve mixed red Kool-Aid with green Kool-Aid, purple Kool-Aid, and blue Kool-Aid to form rainbow Kool-Aid and it tasted like crap.

    9. Who on this board would you want to box in real life if given the chance?

Probably no one because I can?t fight, but if I had to, I?d take Bahir because when I lose, I can have the honor of saying that I lost to a bodybuilder.

    <font size=""3"">huevonkiller

    1. Why did McNabb really mess up the two minute drill in Superbowl 38?

McNabb WAS NOT tired! Okay, but seriously, I don?t know. I?ve watched a lot of Eagles game, and I know that time management is not their strength. The Eagles have messed up tons of two minute drills in the past, so I?m guessing it was just another mental error. Stupid, but true. Either way, if it wasn?t for erratic play early on, we probably could have won the Super Bowl. We lost by only a field goal god dammit!

    2. What do you think about TO as a player? Where do you rank him all-time?

I think TO is a great player. He?s extremely talented, and he?s one of the top receivers in the game, but he?s definitely fallen off a bit since his days in San Fransico. But either way, the guy is a really hard worker, and he?s a great competitor. If I had to win single game, TO would be one of my picks to start at the wide receiver position. I think he?s one of the best receivers to ever play in the NFL, and I?m pretty sure he?s going to go down as a top 25 player at least. Now, as a person, I feel differently, but I don?t feel like sharing my opinions about his life off the field right now. All I care about is that we beat TO and the Cowboys twice last season, one led by Donavan McNabb, and one led by Jeff Garcia. Suck that TO!

    1. What flavors of Kool-Aid work best with the McDonald's food you order?

I don?t drink Kool-Aid with McDonalds, so I don?t know. If I had to pick, probably cherry flavored Kool-Aid because it?s my favorite! [IMG]

    2. Smush Parker was your favorite whipping boy last year, Von Wafer the year before, who do you plan to use this season?

Von Wafer was my whipping boy? Since when? lol.

Anyways, I don?t go around randomly picking guys to be my ?whipping boy.? Smush Parker definitely deserved it. I hope that one the day, our roster will be so great that I won?t have a whipping boy, but as now, that?s nothing more than a distant fantasy. I can?t tell you who I?m going to rag on next season, but it?s probably going to be a combination of Sasha Vujacic, Kwame Brown, Brian Cook, or to make things simpler, 99% of our roster.

    3. What can 76er fans look forward to this season? They seem destined to finish in last place in their division.

I honestly don?t know what 76er fans should look forward to next season. They seem destined to finish last place in their division because they will finish last place in their division. The Boston Celtics have obviously improved tremendously by acquiring both Ray Allen and Kevin Garnett in the offseason to pair along with Paul Pierce. The Nets get a healthy Nenad Kristc back, along with the trio of Jason Kidd, Vince Carter, and Richard Jefferson. The Raptors were probably the best team in the Atlantic last season, and they haven?t fallen off at all. The Knicks got better by acquiring Zach Randolph, to go along with Marbury and Curry. I think the Knicks will finish 3rd in the division, and I don?t think they?ll make the playoffs, but there is no way they finish behind the 76ers. The only thing for a Sixers fan to look forward to next season is the development of the young guns. Andre Iguodala is bound to have another terrific season, and Rodney Carney is entering his sophomore season in the NBA, so it should be interesting to see what he can really do. Also, guys like Thaddeus Young, Jason Smith, and Derrick Byars should provide some flashes of the future and excitement for the fans. All in all, next season will be a season of growth and development, and it will be interesting to see this young squad grow up and mature together.

    <font size=""3"">Bahir

    1. Are you content with being Brian?

Of course I am. I am not perfect, but nobody is. I have some things that I wish I could change about myself, but so does everyone else. Nobody is perfect, and everyone is different. That?s what makes the world such a great and unique place to live in.

    2. What would you rather see, the Lakers starting a youth movement, trading away Kobe and building around Bynum or some other youngster aquired through trade, or, trying to get JO to LA, but then see the team fail against the Spurs, because of inferior depth?

The only reason to trade for another superstar is to contend and ultimately win a champion. If you can already see in the future and know that we are going to fail, there is no need to give away our young players in order to fail. We would be better off starting over and taking a chance on the youngsters and watch them grow. Hopefully somewhere down the line, they will have reached their full potential, and then we can go out and sign another superstar to put us over the top. But the thing is, you can?t see into the future. That?s the beauty of sports. You never know what?s going to happen next, and acquiring a Jermaine O?Neal may put us over the top. I would rather take the chance with two top players in Kobe Bryant and Jermaine O?Neal rather than giving up entirely.

    3. Do you always decide what to eat by asking strangers on the internet?

Nope. I?ve got my own brain too!

    <font size=""3"">MrJ

    1. If I invited you to a family reunion and you messed up the Kool-Aid, would you rather a) get beat up, or [IMG] pay $100 for the wasted Kool-Aid, wasted time?

First of all, Kool-Aid doesn?t cost $100, and time is priceless. All that adds up to less than $10, so I don?t know where you got $100 from. Also, why would you invite me to your family reunion? That doesn't make sense.

    2. Have you ever watched the Lakers playing the 76ers while listening to Liquid Swords while doing your math homework with your overpriced calculator while eating McDonald's and drinking Kool-Aid in your "gansta" neighborhood on your berfday?

No, but I have seen this

    [IMG]" target="_blank">http://www.cantstopthebleeding.com/img/miller0420.jpg">

    3. I have cherry-flavored Kool-Aid in my refrigerator right this second. Would you like a glass?

Why would I want some of your Kool-Aid when I can drink Kool-Aid that I have made myself, which is a hundred times better than any Kool-Aid you have ever made in your life. My Kool-Aid >>>>>>> MrJ?s Kool-Aid

    <font size=""3"">NTC

1.Do you watch Lakers games while drinking Kool-Aid and eating McDonalds?

Do you know what the 5 fingers said to the face?

    2. If I gave you a $100 to go on a spending spree at McDonalds, what would you buy, and why? Would you share?

I would buy 50 cheeseburgers from the McDonalds dollar menu, and send all 50 cheeseburgers in a package to Miami. The package will land on Smush Parker?s front porch, and inside the package will be a letter written by me, proclaiming that I am the greatest streetball player in the whole world, and in order to be the best streetball player, you must eat all the cheeseburgers in one day. Smush Parker is dumb, so he will believe me, and he will eat all 50 cheeseburgers (50 cheesburgers = approximately 25 Big Macs). Then he will arrive in camp fat and out of shape, and hopefully Miami will release him before Pat Riley loses all his hair trying to coach that idiot. Then I will use the remainder of the money to buy as much McFlurries as I can. I will then fly myself to the Heat?s training camp where I will dump the McFlurries on Smush? Smushcalade, before proceeding to piss on his truck and then slashing his tires.

    3. If you had the chance to put Kool-Aid on the McDonalds menu, would you be bold enough to do it?

If you had the chance to kiss Rosie O'Donald, would you be bold enough to do it?

I liked your answers Brian, you're a very reasonable person and you didn't overrate your favorite players much (btw I meant to say Superbowl 39 not 38).

    Props man.

I have a feeling we went overboard with Kool-Aid/McDonald jokes. Way to give well thought out answers when nobody was expecting it, Brian. [IMG]

Seriously though, nice answers. I liked your prediction of the Atlantic.

    Sorry, I was bored.

Quoting Brian:

3. New Jersey Nets – The Nets improved in the offseason by signing former All-Star Jamaal Maglorie, and getting Nenad Kristic back healthy. They’ll play along with Jason Kidd, Richard Jefferson, and Vince Carter for one exciting starting lineup. Unfortunately, I don’t see them finishing ahead of the Raptors (although it may be possible, and I won’t be surprised if it happened), and I sure as hell don’t see them beating out the Celtics.

Nice usage of the word “former” all-star. If the Nets can somehow land Payton they will land not only a former all-star, but a DPOY, and Hall of Famer! The point is, while Magloire made the all-star team (almost by default since the East was short on good centers) four seasons ago, he only averaged roughly 6/6 for Portland in 21 minutes, so I question how good of an acquisition he is, especially since he isn’t the running type of center and the Nets like to get up and down the court. Krstic getting healthy again is a plus for the Nets though.

Quote:

4. New York Knicks – The Knicks traded for Zach Randolph, and will get some players back from injuries. Whoop-dee-doo. They’re still a team with little to no chemistry, and they still haven’t fixed up their defense with a possible starting line up consisting of Stephon Marbury, Jamaal Crawford, Eddy Curry, and Zach Randolph. That line up is a defensive disaster. I don’t expect the Knicks to make the playoffs this year, they’ll probably end up as the 10th or 9th seed, 9th seed at best in my opinion.

It’s funny that you mention Krstic becoming healthy yet you downplay the Knicks injuries—Crawford, Lee, Richardson (40 PPG/20 RPG)—all whom are more valuable to the team than Krstic is to the Nets. And how can you question their chemistry without seeing them play? Most of the players on the Knicks are playing their third season together, so they should have even more chemistry. I hate it when people talk about the defense being much worse than it already is. Channing Frye was a horrible defender. In fact, if you can believe it, Zach Randolph is a better defender than Frye just by the mere fact he takes up more space. So, the Knicks actually improved their defense by substituting Frye with Randolph. It’s cool that you don’t see the Knicks in the playoffs, I just think you’re downplaying their improvements.

Quote:

First of all, Kool-Aid doesn’t cost $100, and time is priceless. All that adds up to less than $10, so I don’t know where you got $100 from. Also, why would you invite me to your family reunion? That doesn't make sense.

At a family reunion, well at least mine, there will be many people (perhaps 50 or so) therefore requiring great amounts of Kool-Aid. So, assuming the cost of Kool-Aid would be less than $10 is not necessarily true either, debunking the first part of your response. Secondly, time does have a price. If you pay your bills late, you will get charged for late fees even though you think time is “priceless”. In a non-monetary sense, if one were to underachieve during their time in school, the price could be learning significantly less. One’s job as an employee in say, McDonald’s, could pay $7.00 per hour. There’s even an adage which states “time is money”, adding credence to the aforementioned example. Therefore, in this hypothetical situation, I choose to charge whatever amount I deem necessary to make up for that wasted time. Granted, $100 is unreasonable, however, the purpose of the question was to see which option—getting physically assaulted, or paying $100—you would prefer. Furthermore, in this hypothetical situation, your purpose is not to enjoy the festivities of the Johnson Family Reunion, but rather exhibit your new-found Kool-Aid-making ability by supplying everyone with a delicious glass of the Kool-Aid.

Quote:

No, but I have seen this

The Knicks won that series. In addition, despite their recent lackluster seasons, according to Forbes, the New York Knicks are worth the most money out of any NBA franchise.

Quote:

Why would I want some of your Kool-Aid when I can drink Kool-Aid that I have made myself, which is a hundred times better than any Kool-Aid you have ever made in your life. My Kool-Aid >>>>>>> MrJ’s Kool-Aid

Since my youth, I have been making Kool-Aid, while you just found out sugar was often added to enhance the product. That’s wishful thinking from a neophyte in preparing Kool-Aid.

McNabb a top 3 QB? LMAO put the crack pipe down son. He's good, but not that good. Strictly QB wise (no rushing), I'd take Palmer, Brady, Manning, and Brees over him clear cut.

The Eagles in the Super Bowl? Lol, they've got to make the playoffs first, which isn't a given in the NFC East. They've got 3 teams capable of competeing (Dallas, NYG, and Philly). Good team, but not much better than last year. I don't see how they'll beat the Saints, my pick to get to the Super Bowl this year from the NFC.

Okay guys chill out. The answers were basically all based on my opinions [IMG]

Quoting MrJ:

Nice usage of the word ?former? all-star. Okay, good point. Sorry I mentioned "former" all-star, because it seemed like I really offended you with that. I didn't know I would offend anyone by calling Jamaal Maglorie a "former" all-star, but so be it.

Quoting MrJ:

It?s funny that you mention Krstic becoming healthy yet you downplay the Knicks injuries?Crawford, Lee, Richardson (40 PPG/20 RPG)?all whom are more valuable to the team than Krstic is to the Nets. I don't think acquiring Zach Randolph was a downgrade. I think acquiring Zach Randolph makes the Knicks a better team, but I still don't see them going far this season. Once again, coming into the season, they have too many offensive players and too little defensive players. There is one ball, and I don't see how everyone on the Knicks can get their fair amount of touches, and considering the amount of egos on this roster, I don't think it would be think it would be far-fetched to think that there might be some chemistry problems next season.

    Okay, you win [IMG]

Quote:

The Knicks won that series. In addition, despite their recent lackluster seasons, according to Forbes, the New York Knicks are worth the most money out of any NBA franchise.

Okay, the Knicks won the series, and they are the valuable franchise in the NBA. Good for you.

Quote:

McNabb a top 3 QB? LMAO put the crack pipe down son. He's good, but not that good. Strictly QB wise (no rushing), I'd take Palmer, Brady, Manning, and Brees over him clear cut.

You'd take Palmer, Brady, Manning, and Brees over McNabb, so good for you. I already said that I ranked Brady and Manning ahead of McNabb, and I'd definetly take the two over McNabb as well. I'd take McNabb over Palmer and Brees, but again, that's my opinion. McNabb was playing like an MVP last season before he was injured, despite having little help at the receiver positions. Once again, it's just my opinion. The questions were asked to me, not Mamba.

Quote:

The Eagles in the Super Bowl? Lol, they've got to make the playoffs first, which isn't a given in the NFC East. I don't see how they'll beat the Saints, my pick to get to the Super Bowl this year from the NFC.

I obviously had a lot of sarcasm in my answer to the Super Bowl question, hence my prediction of the final score. Either way, I don't see why it's far-fetched to believe the Eagles will make it to the Superbowl. They did improve from last year, first and foremost, they get back Donavan McNabb, obviously the crucial part of the offense, and Jevon Kearse, who is our best pass rusher. We added Takeo Spikes for nothing, and although Spikes isn't the same player as he was a couple of seasons ago, he's still a lot better than any linebacker we have. The Saints have a great offense, and I don't blame you for picking them to win the NFC. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see the Saints in the Superbowl, but I'm an Eagle fan, so I'm obviously going to have some bias in my picks. We matched up pretty well with the Saints last season, despite missing some of our crucial players. If we can stay reletively healthy next season, I do believe we'll make the Superbowl, and I do believe we'll be able to beat the Saints

Again, I don't know why some of you guys are getting so worked up. You asked the questions, and I answered them. Sorry if some of you didn't like my sarcasm, but you honestly can't expect me to answer each and every question with tons of thought and depth when I've got people asking me about Kool-Aid and McDonalds every other question [IMG]. You asked the questions, and I answered the questions with my opinion. I'm sorry if I think differently than some of you, I can't help it

I’m not offended, lol. Why would I be? I just think you are trying to embellish a mediocre acquisition by saying “former all-star” when he just averaged 6/6 last season.

I think your reading too much into what the media spews out. The same was said about the Knicks last season—too many players that demanded the ball, etc.—but every single player (including Francis) was more than willing to sacrifice their shot attempts for the betterment of the team. Marbury, who’s portrayed as having the worst attitude, didn’t mind averaging a career low 12 shots per game. The Knicks defense should be slightly better with Randolph because he is a better defender than Frye and a better defensive rebounder and that limits the opposition’s possessions. Please, may you list the players on the Knicks that have egos?
