I'm going to predict an average offensive display, but a monster rebounding year. 7PPG/15RPG. Why? Because I can, I suppose.
LOL! I laughed pretty hard at some of the people who thought I was serious. Am I the only one who thinks Bynum is not even going to see 28 MPG? For his short amount of time played last season, he averaged quite a few fouls per game. Add on the fact that Mihm is coming back, I just can't see him breaking 25 MPG. I realistically think at most he'll average 9/7/~2

Saying he'll average 28 mpg is the biggest leap of faith I made in my previous post. Mihm might steal some minutes but I'm betting he gets injured again (or Kwame, and then Bynum develops slightly and earns 28 mpg). At 25 mpg, 9/7/~2 is a good stat line for Bynum.
<div class="quote_poster">Legacy Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">8 points, 6 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 block in 24 minutes.</div> Thats basically what he averaged this year, Bynum is going to be better then that, especially if he gets 24 mpg. If the coaches really say he has improved, he will put way better stats then that. Those stats are equal to the ones last year... 7.8ppg, 1.1apg, 5.9rpg, 1.6bpg, 21.9mpg. Everyone so far has put up stats that have been a some what of an improvement, we don't need a Bynum hater to come in and say he will be excatly the same. I doubt you have watched many Laker games, especially at the beggining of the season. There you could have seen some of his potential. Also, many people have to remember his age, last year was like his rookie year.

He will play a different role than he did this year, especially with Mihm and Radmonavic coming back.

I can't imagine why on earth we would put a 3 point shooter for a center. He is weak down low, I doubt he can grab many rebounds and so on. For Mihm, he was injured throughout the whole of last season. You can't expect him to jump right back into his game, he will need some time to devolp and get his game back. Bynum will at most see 27mpg, but even at 24mpg or around that he should put up decent stats.

He would still get minutes, and depending on how Jackson will run the offense, we could see Bynum not playing at some parts of the game with Kwame or Mihm playing center and Radmonavic playing PF.

Of course at some parts of the game Bynum is not going to play. His not going to play all 48 minutes, but even with his limited minutes, around 24-28 mpg. He should put up decent stats, not the garbage you said he will put up for a 3rd year center. Also, you bring up the triangle offense. Radmonavic is trash in the offense, last season showed that. He could not learn it , it is hard for most players. Phil Jackson called him a "space cadet,"why? Sometimes he is there, other times he is not. Bynum on the other hand will get his minutes, because he is the so called "future," so the Mangement, and the fans, will want to see Bynum producing.

If he doesn't start and comes off the bench: 8 points, 6 rebounds, 1 assists, 1 blocks. Either way its and improvement and just because the management has so much "faith" in him.

Also, you make it seem like us Laker fans prefer Bynum above everyone else. We would rather have him packaged off for Jermaine. We just want to keep Odom by doing so. I personally have faith in Bynum as well, I see him being an all-star. But, we really do not want to waste away Kobe's prime, we want to win now. I would still support Bynum after he gets traded as well, the kid has loads of potential.

I changed my mind Bynum will average 10points/6rebounds AND 2.5 blocks.Don't think he might start i think that Mihm will start for us.

I never said 28 mpg was a leap of faith, long shot type deal. I merely asked if I am the only one thinking he won't see that much more minutes per game. And if you want to be techincal about it, there is a flaw in "LA Centers the last few years have averaged 27/28/26." Bynum only averaged 22 MPG last season, and there is only 48 minutes to a game. You also didn't say anything about Bynum being foul prone, which he is, which will undoubtedly limit his minutes. Add on Turiaf who logs minutes at C as well. Stop being touchy that my opinion on his stat line clashes with yours. <div class="quote_poster">Quoting huevonkiller:</div><div class="quote_post">At 25 mpg, 9/7/~2 is a good stat line for Bynum.</div> I said realistically at most. You're horribly confused. This is truly funny. <div class="quote_poster">The One & Only Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Way to take my words out of context. When I said leap of faith, I was referring to my own post where I made a leap of faith by saying Bynum will get 28 mpg. When I said 27/28/26 I meant somewhere in that range... Not three players averaging those minutes. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"> You also didn't say anything about Bynum being foul prone, which he is, which will undoubtedly limit his minutes. You're being extremely touchy and awkward right now. As for Bynum's minutes, I predict that he will develop enough of an IQ to log in up to 28 mpg if needed. Turiaf also plays a few minutes a PF whereas Bynum is always at the five. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"> I said realistically at most.
