<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Never mind the coaches and players; the busiest people connected to the Raptors this summer are the team's training and medical staff. Garbo's leg and ankle, Bosh's feet and now Carlos Delfino's knee have kept the teams doctors studying reports from all over the world and has had members of the staff racing hither and yon to conduct exams and do workouts. The latest, of course, is a tweaked knee suffered by Delfino in one of Argentina's warmup games in Puerto Rico in preparation for the Olympic qualifier that starts this week in Vegas. But there is good news. Chatted briefly with Bryan Colangelo last night and he says there is no serious injury and that Delfino should be able to play for Argentina during the tournament. He may need a couple of days off to rest, and Toronto physicians are getting the MRIs and exam results, but he should be back on the court no later than the end of the week. Bosh leaving the American team, I'm told, is a much more a cautionary move than a reactionary one; his foot isn't that bad but there's no sense risking anything. As for Garbo, he still hasn't been cleared to play for Spain yet and things should get resolved in the next couple of days. If I was a gambling man ? and in light of all that's going on I'm not sure that's an appropriate joke ? I'd say it's less than 50-50 that he gets clearance to play. I have no hard evidence to back that up, I just think it's the most common sense thing to do. </div> Read On... Man, basketball is back. I can't wait. I'm tired of Baseball, Tennis and Golf highlights. I want Basketball, Hockey and Football!
Haha man, I agree 100%. Baseball, tennis, and golf are so fucking boring. Hockey and football are fun to get into and definitely watchable, but basketball is king.
