The Kings get value back for Artest, and Haslem actually signed at a discount to stay in Miami. Haslem is still young, and should compliment Hawes in the post. The Heat might also be willing to take either Reef or Kenny Thomas in the deal to replace Haslem. Getting rid of one of those long term contracts would be an added bonus for the Kings.
I believe SAR's or Kenny Thomas would be better off leaving Sacramento because Reggie Theus wants to up the tempo a bit, which I really believes hurts those two. Haslem for Artest though, What are the Kings waiting for?
Wow, the Kings get a steal in this trade. If they are able to get rid of Reef or Thomas, that would be a bonus. The Heat must be desperate or something.
