<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Writers from a dozen official NBA team websites recently responded to this question: Which club has enjoyed the best 2007 offseason? Writers were asked to rank teams 1 through 5, but were not allowed to include the squad they cover within their top-five ranking. Using a 5-4-3-2-1 points system, the Boston Celtics were the overwhelming choice as the NBA squad that has made the most positive changes this summer, finishing with eight first-place votes and 55 total points. Portland finished second, followed by Houston, your Charlotte Bobcats and Memphis. The full results were as follows (with first-place votes in parentheses): Boston (8), 55; Portland (3), 39; Houston, 22; CHARLOTTE, 18; Memphis, 12; New York, 9; Seattle, 9; Dallas (1), 8; San Antonio, 4; Chicago, 3; Golden State, 3; Orlando, 3; Atlanta, 1; Minnesota, 1; Toronto, 1 </div> Source: Bobcatsbasketball.com
I hate how underrated Toronto's offseason was. I thnk that adding Kapono can strech the defense, which can open it up for Bosh, Parker and Bargnani. Delfino can slahs, shoot and play defense at the SG or SF position, which the Raptors need.

It'll help them a lot since they lacked depth at SG/SF but ultimately its nothing special, especially with so many blockbuster trades this offseason.

It isn't based on how much it will help the team. It is based on how big the deals were. It is somewhat based on how the team will benefit, but not in a major way. How come Houston had top 3 off-season when all they did was crowd the PG position. While The Raptors added the best 3PT shooter last season who can keep the defense honest. They also added a guy who can strive in our system given the chance in Carlos Delfino.
*Why is Orlando so low? We got Foyle and Lewis. *And I love Dallas, but why are they so high? all they did was lose crocherre and get Eddie Jones. *San Antonio only signed Udoka. *Memphis only signed Darko...and now has like 5 point guards.. *And Golden State traded away there franchise player... I think a lot of these teams on this list improved over the offseason but Idk if i completely agree with the order.

Bobcats did have a good offseason by getting a veteran in Jason Richardson. The Bobcats have a very good team right now.Golden State as well has had a very good off-season so far. Celtics number. What a shocker.

Because know one knows how Minnesota will mesh, and Toronto has great team chemistry and adding a guy who can relive pressure off Bosh, Parker and Bargnani is so under rated. Oh well, the league will see the Raptors next year play great ball.

Who did they acquire this offseason by the way? </p> </p>
I don't like what the bobcats did this offseason trading wright. The bobcats think they are a lot closer to being very competitive than they are. While I like richardson, I think they overpaid for him and he isn't very well rounded as a player.
