    Under BOTH.

    NBA 48mins per quarter.
    NBA 3pts line.
    NBA goaltending rule.
    FIFA hand checking rule.

I like Team NBA a little more, because the bigs are much better. And the perimeter players' effectiveness will be cut down a bit under FIBA hand-checking rules (which are apparently non-existent). Lack of a true PG on Team NBA would be the only real concern.

I would go with Team USA, they are so explosive and even though Team NBA has the better bigs I don't see them being so effective with a zone D..they dont seem to have many 3 point threats.. So playing Zone would be a good and effective defense against them...
It would be last year all over again when they lost because of weak 3 pt shooting.. and weak against a zone D..

Agreed, in a 7 game series I like the size and defensive edge for Team NBA. Both Wade and TMac understand the importance of getting the ball inside and running the offense through your big man. Both are capable of dictating a slow pace tempo, which forces Team USA to rely on 3 point shooting to win.

It looks like he's using USA players only, Nash is a Canadian citizen.

Iverson can pass. Plus there is Wade and McGrady who can run an offense. So, Team NBA looks great because they have a very complete team. With Wade and McGrady they can play inside-out with Duncan playing the way that he does.

that's what I was thinking, and if so than it should be team usa A vs teams usa B or something cause nash is in the nba lol. I don't think it really matters though. As long as the dream team actually comes through this time i'll be happy

So you guys think team full of stars are better than team orientate? The games outcome will depend on a full court or half court set. Team NBA wouldn't want to run with Team USA, so it's safe to say they slow down and play a half court set. This is where Team NBA is extremely dangerous with Duncan/KG in the post. But despite the lack of size on Team USA, it's safe to say Melo might be the starter by as the game progresses, Amare/Chandler will replace him at the PF to match-up with KG, thus limiting the Team NBA dominance on the inside. With Kidd running the show, Kobe being the lockdown defender, Lebron being a beast on his all-around game, and Dwight cleaning up the mess, Team USA has a chance. Despite Team NBA with better big men, today game is dominated by guard orientate. With AI, Arenas, Tmac, I don't see them trying to consistently dumping the ball inside to KG/Duncan, evident in the All Star Game. Thus they'll force to run with Team USA J-Kidd/Kobe/Lebron, and this is where they'll fall into Team USA's trap. In consequence, limiting KG/Duncan's touch in the post, resulting in a full court battle.

It will be a very close game with outcome determine within the last 2 mins of 4th quarter. Thus in clutch situation, Kobe, Melo, Billup vs Wade, Tmac, Arenas will be important. The way I see it, in clutch situation Kobe/Melo/Billup fair better than Wade/Tmac/Arenas but up to opinion. My prediction, Team USA by 4-3, but winning an average of 1.8pts. [IMG]

If you have better idea how the game will plays out, I'll be happy to hear it.
