<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">A journeyman, Carter played in just two games with the Nuggets after signing with the team on April 12. He averaged 3.0 points, 5.5 assists and 1.5 rebounds in those contests.

The 6-2 Carter has spent parts of eight seasons with four different teams. He again will be on the free-agent market thanks to Denver, which has no room in its backcourt after having signed guard Chucky Atkins this summer. </div>

Carter was terrible. Hopefully we can pick up someone with some kind of skill at the pg spot.

Gary Payton is peddling himself around since Miami has no plans on bringing him back. He might be a nice option for Denver, because Payton still likes to get out and run.

Another capable backup is Mike Wilks or maybe bring back fan favorite and former Nugget EARL BOYKINS!

This has to be one of the most bizarre moves I've ever seen in the NBA.
