PG - Rajon Rondo/Gabe Pruitt
SG - Ray Allen/Tony Allen/Eddie House
SF - Paul Pierce/James Posey/Brian Scalabrine
PF - Kevin Garnett/Leon Powe/Glen Davis
C - Kendrick Perkins/Scot Pollard

Theirs (IMO) Bostons depth chart. Is this roster good enough for Boston to get to the finals? Or will they lose to Chicago/Cleveland/Detroit?

it all depends on their chemistry. i think if they manage to play like usa is playing at the moment: unselfishly, no concerns about individual stats, all about winning, the defintion of TEAM, etc, then i think they can make a very strong push. it'll probably be a much tougher, longer ride than most people are anticipating, but i believe it is possible. a better, more experienced point guard would be nice, but you cant quite complain if you have ray allen, paul pierce, and kevin garnett (not to mention james posey) on your team! idk much about perkins, but i hear he can perform, so youre alright there. overall, teams like chicago, detroit, miami, and cleveland arent going to just sit down and let them beat em. theyre gonna fight. i doubt they'll win it all in their first year together, but a few years down the road these guys have the potential to develop into a great team.

They still need one more rotation big man IMO. I'd try to preserve KG as much as possible during the regular season and adding a veteran PF to play a solid 12 to 15 minutes would cut done significantly on the grind KG will have to deal with.

The Celtics need a well rested KG for a Championship run. He's never been smart about pacing himself and gets fatigued later in the season.

The Celtics are trying to get KG to play minutes at center as well, which will lead to his body breaking down faster.

I count 13 players on your depth chart, so Big Baby likely starts the season in the DLeague and Pollard is put on the IR.

They need some depth at the 5, they're gonna get raped in the paint otherwise. I reckon they should've tried to swing a deal for some one like Jeff Foster, he probably could've been picked up cheap, and is one of the better rebounders in the league.

I was going to suggest Dan Gadzuric....but he's very expensive and I'm not sure what they have that the Bucks might want

The talent is there to make the ECF or even the Finals. It's just definitive enough to say for certain C's are better than the Pistons, Bulls, Raptors or a motivated Heat team. Raps get slept on but they're young and a year better not older IMO. Got that bad taste of losing in the first round. Should be a motivated team this yr.

Cavs were an abbreviation last year IMO. Won't happen this year.
