<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">During the off-season, I finally settled down in Cleveland and got myself a spot on the East Side. My mom and my aunt helped me get situated and my cousin is going to stay with me this year. When I come back to Cleveland from Texas before camp, I?ll be all set and ready to go.
I really haven?t done much this summer. After the season, I took about a week or two off. Then I headed to the summer league in Vegas. I got out there, played a little bit and headed back home. The most fun I?ve had this summer has been being back in Houston and just being able to be with my family ? sometimes on the weekend going bowling or go to my grandmother?s house to play cards. Just being around my family this summer has been the most fun for me. Spending time with them is all the fun and vacation that I needed.

I also got a new little girlfriend ? a two-month-old German Shepherd puppy named ?Diamond.? Right now, she?s biting on a plant. She?ll be alright. Whatever she tears up, I?ll be cool with it.

This summer, in what?s pretty much become a ritual ? something I do every summer ? I come home to Houston and work out with John Lucas and some guys who aren?t in the NBA but can still ball. And every summer we go and work out two times a day and lift weights in-between.

I?ve been working on my whole game, but pretty much but the focus has been the mid-range stuff ? pull-ups, floaters, a lot of things between the three-point arc and the basket. The floater worked pretty well for me in the postseason and that?s something I?m trying to perfect because being a guard my size, trying to score, that?s going to be a good shot for me to have in my arsenal.

I know around this time last year, I was working just as hard, but the way I went about was different. I think my whole thing last year at this time was thinking that I had to ? first ? make the team. I didn?t really know anybody and I had to earn everybody?s respect.

But at the same time, this summer?s pretty much the same because I feel like I have a lot to prove coming into this season as far as continuing to gain everyone?s respect and at the same time to prove myself as a legit player in this league. In that aspect, it?s kind of the same ? being hungry and looking to get out there and continue to get better.

I?m really looking forward to this season. I feel like I had a really productive summer ? I played a lot basketball and worked out a lot. And a lot of times when you get late in the season, you?re looking forward to that rest. But when you get that rest, you?re ready to get back out there, playing again. I?m getting that hunger back and I?m ready to be back out there on the floor. </div>
