Finishing fifth means no appearance in the Americas Cup medal round this year and only a small chance of making it through the Olympic qualifiers next year. One thing that could help: Jamal Magloire, the Nets' new center. But to a man, the team reportedly said "We don't want him" and their coach added, "I'm tired of chasing him".</div>

I agree with them. I think if Magloire keeps saying no, there is no reason you should keep asking him when you get the same response all the time.

I think he's injured, but I'm not too sure.

He's too soft to play in the summer.

Nash played for team Canada for years!! He's getting older now and with his style of play I see nothing wrong with his retiring from the national team so that he can preserve his body. Frankly I'm incredibly suprised Jason Kidd is playing with his age and his knees. Good on him.

I don't want Magloire to play for Team Canada. I trust Kidd to play during the summer, because he knows his limit. He's not playing huge minutes, anyway. Now, as for Jamaal, let's just keep him to ourselves. I just don't want to risk it.

Nash has done enough for Team Canada and the country of Canada and he's getting into his twilight years. Really nothing left to ask for the man.

He hasn't been playing because it kept wearing him out for the NBA season.

Nash is too old to play the whole year
it would be nice though to have a really good NBA player in the team helping out all those young dudes.

lol at Magloire being rejected by the team
