Look for Sasha Pavlovic and Anderson Varejao to re-sign with the Cavs. The sign-and-trade options for both have pretty much dried up, so both should return. It's more likely that Pavlovic will sign a longer deal than Varejao, who might end up with a qualifying offer for a year that will allow him to seek the big bucks next offseason.

This is great news for the Cavs, keeping two youngsters with bags of potential for at least another year. The only worry is that Varejao may become an unrestricted free agent next season and, depending on his performance next year, this could make him very difficult to keep.

I'm really surprised there hasn't been more of a market demand for Varejao. He's young, very active on the inside, and plays off the ball effectively. There's a lot of room for improvement, but Varejao is an effective role player at this stage of his career. He has more talent and upside than some other big men in the league with expensive contracts.

I also like Pavlovic, but players like him are a dime a dozen.

The Cavs will at least benefit another season with these two. I wouldn't be surprised to see them try to shop either Gooden, Marshall, and/or Varejao before the February deadline to free up some cap space.

Pavlovic in my opinion is one of the more underrated players in the league. He may be the team's best perimeter defender, he is aggressive offensively and is not scared to take big shots, and he is only 23 years old.

Outside of LeBron he was really the only consistent scoring threat that the Cavs had before Daniel Gibson went crazy. I think he can be a 15-17 point a game player in this league and at his age I think that he could be one of the best international swingman in the game in a couple of years.

Varejao is a player that I expected to get more attention than he did as well. Teams do not want to go over the cap for a player who will always be a high energy guy off of the bench. As he showed in the Finals you can't really run too much of your offense through him. I would definitely love to have him on my team but if I were an owner I wouldn't want to be spending double what I pay for him b/c his signing put me over the salary cap.

I don't think Cleveland did enough to win the East again but the way LeBron has been playing in this tournament of Americas I wouldn't be surprised if they did. Should be interesting.
