I am at work now! This is where I really need a porn forum!

I can't be googling random porn things!

(Yes, I am just kidding... or maybe not [IMG])

Oh man, I didn't know. I was honestly joking.

We want to keep the site safe for work.

I'm really excited to get to know you guys. I think I know some of you guys already.

I checked out SportsTwo and you were one of the few people I recognized. I think I may have seen you at some other basketball forum before, I don't know. I just remember the name Petey and your amazing avatar. [IMG]

this sounds good and all that, but we would be getting rid of JBB, i know JBB would become part of another website and we will still retain the same members and quality discussion, but come on, JBB! anyway it still sounds like a good idea but ill have to see how it all pans out in the transfer process, as will all of us i believe. sports2 looks pretty cool, but we have all gottenso used to JBB that such a dramatic change could purhapse put off alot of members. i welcome the challenge but i will miss JBB as it is today.

I'm not sure honestly, but I rather there be no limitations as long as it's within reason.

But of course everything is open to discussion.

Yeah I used to be an admin at another basketball board.

I've had that avatar for years. Thanks.

Try clicking it on S2 when you have some time. Denny Crane got it to sorta work.

My opinion is that allowing huge sigs, and many of them, really destroys a forum. I don't want to scroll down for several seconds just to see the next post in the thread. Even if someone is proud of their sigs (which in most cases they didn't make themselves), then there should be some sort of art gallery where you can put up your pictures so that the people who want to see them can (but us who don't won't have to).

I understand what you are saying.

At the same time we don't want to limit the creativity of people.

As Swish pointed out, we are not bound by existing software, but can write our own. I think we can figure out a solution (ignore user(s), ignore sig(s)) or something down the line.

Denny Crane and the other programmers are very diligent where things are worked on, on a daily basis. They keep a log of the changes.

In the end I think we'll all have a rock'n time. [IMG]

Yeah, if there could be a function in the profile options that you could use to disable the display of sig pictures, it would be great. I think that solution would make everyone happy.

Agreed. Having a gambit of options users can have access to is the best solution. It's hard to please everyone so the best way to accomplish it is by allowing the user the control to set it the way they want. The more customizable the better the experience.

There should still be limitations, as sometimes sigs can be nice to add depth to a forum, but having to scroll through masses of them is ridiculous.

I thought the Random thought thread was good for that, but whatever. I think we need a good bye thread.
