I noticed Miami signed OG Trey Darilek who used to play for the Iggles. Is this a good acquisition for Miami? Thoughts are appreciated.

With this, Nick jettisons Wade Smith - another bust's of Wannys (I didn't break all of them - I thought I'd liet Saban have some fun).

Can't say he made much of an impact on me as a fan last year so I can't give you much feedback. Looks like he was released in the last round of cuts.

18 games is plenty of time to analyze an Olineman if there is actually someone looking at him which is why I believe teams hire OL coaches. Crazy philosophy huh? So instead of saying you don't know cause he only started 18 games, why not say you don't know cause you never really concentrated on watching him play?

Most people don't focus on the OL play...plain and simple.

I love to watch the OL. It's the position I hope to be coaching someday soon. Now as for this particular guy...I dunno...I've never watched him play. :P

Philly has always been pretty good @ evaluating OL talent. If he started 18 games then it is an upgrade.

Allow me a John Madden moment; "A name like Tray Darilek means you got to be some big ole lineman. "

I would think with the name Darilek he would be someone's drunken idiot kicker.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Nick Saban made it clear Monday that he will continue to clean out the locker room of any player who he feels doesn't understand how to play winning football.

While not mentioning any player by name, his actions spoke volumes when he released backup center Wade Smith, the latest member of a growing list of former high draft picks made by the previous regime of Dave Wannstedt and Rick Spielman to be cut loose by Saban since taking over in 2005.</div>

18 should be enough...if 16 of them were last year, im worried, because the Eagles couldnt run it at all last year....

An idiot kicker, WR, & owner on the same team.

Imagine the team meetings? Who sits in the corner w/ the dunce cap on? Parcells in about 3 weeks.
