Pretty easy, check it out: Explain to family members and friends what proverbs are and ask them for proverbs they know. For each proverb, ask them where they learned the proverb and if they know what it means. So basically, does anyone know any proverbs and what it means?

for homework like that all i used to do was research proverbs and make up the people and other information one example of a proverb is a british one : penny wise pound foolish. this is the same as if you look after the pennies the pounds look after themselves. They both mean that if you are careful with small amounts of money and avoid using it pointlessly you will soon have a large amount of money.
