But on a more serious note. I'm not too thrilled with the layout.</p>

    </p></div>

The layout will grow on your over time - it will just take some getting use to because its different from JBB. Have an open mind and give it some time - I guarentee it will disappoint you. </p>

Our graphic team is going to start working on getting the graphics a little nicer pretty shortly. </p>

Glad to see the best and most active team forum on JBB is quickly keeping that rep here on S2 (I temporarily throw my Rockets affiliations aside as I say this). I'm not totally accustomed to this site yet as well but shape's tip about enlarging the font size really helps. </p>

We actually enlarged the fonts already (this morning). Didn't take effect for you?</p>

Misprint? Or a subtle joke? I'm thinking the former. Can't see how it could be the latter, considering everything.</p>

Either way, I plan to stay. It's the only bball forum I've been on for the last few years, so hard to find anywhere else where I'd feel more comfortable. And I definitely I agree that I will get used to the layout. </p>

I hope the layout and features will change to resemble JBB's modificatoin of vBulletin board, I'm going to go blind soon! [IMG]</p>

I think the background should be pictures of Jessica Alba, I think that will restore my vision. </p>

I'm frightened and confused by this change. I think Custodian needs to start a Warriors Poetry Corner thread to make us all feel a little more comfortable.

    Sure thing Walk. *Ahem*</p>

    Jrich will surely be missed
It's understandable why he got pissed
After his first year in the post season
Mullin trades him for a money reason
Welcome Wright to the new roster list </p>

There was a rook named Brandan Wright
For a power forward he weighs kinda light
    A rookie hazing thing
would to make him hold on to some string
And fly him around like a kite

There was a guy named Justin Slayer
I think he's an adult film actor not a basketball player
I thought I'd waste up two lines
    In hopes it still rhymes
Nothing sounds like Marco or Bellinelli </p>

Don Nelson and money issues bring many fears
If he doesn't coach this small ball we'll be in tears
    With our lack of size
It won't be a total surprise
If we again miss the playoffs for years.

We will all miss Adonal Foyle's big heart
But not much else, where do we even start?
Catching a cold, let alone a pass
a bankshot shot over the entire glass...
Let's just say his contract wasn't too smart

We won this season when Mike and Troy got traded
And we got two better players who weren't as overrated
Sjax is kind of a thug
Al Harrington rebounds like a bug
Who cares! The playoffs! We finally and barely made it!
    </p>

I felt very sad the first time I logged in and everything had changed. I'm feeling better about it now, but certainly I might like the look more if it were a little more understated... one of the nice things about JBB was how clean and minimalist a lot of the menus were.

Yeah. Compared to classical JBB setting, S2 looks bit colorful. Also, news is nice, but I can live without the roster or standing next to the message board. Wonder if they can enlarge the board and remove or move those to somewhere else...

Nice poem CR2, I'll have to get my creativity going and post one later.</p>

Good suggestion Kwan, maybe having a tab or link to those pages would work out better. I noticed the screen looks squashed especially on my laptop.</p>

Also another tip if you guys are experiencing lag when you are trying to type of scroll. Hit SHIFT KEY and F5, which reloads everything on the page. What is causing it is some of the WYSIWIG tools, so the programmers are looking at getting a lighter version of those to use, or having standard tools, and then a seperate link for more advanced tools.</p>

    Yikes</p>

shift-f5 is only needed if some change to the javascript parts of the site has been done and if you're not seeing those changes.</p>

If you try this and it speeds things up, let me know, but I'm not sure why it would [IMG]</p>

And don't do it if you're in the middle of editing a post or you'll lose your work.</p>

You've outdone yourself with that one. I now feel a little more comfortable in the new digs. </p>

</div></p>[IMG] Glad to hear it. I'm really loving the idea of a true shooting guard and a very tall and long armed guy with good hands, inside scoring footwork who is also athletic. But I'm pretty sure I'm not alone that they could both get outmuscled badly in their first year in the nba. The strength matchup is what allows guys like Jason Kidd, Baron Davis, Deron Williams to finish a lot more easily against bigger players. So let's hope these guys are like Tony Parker, Allen Iverson, Steve Nash, or Kevin Garnett/Chris Bosh when it comes to finishing like using more of finesse, excellent off-balance moves and body/ballhandle control, or just sheer quickness to blow past stronger, but slower defenders. If it's good balance of physical strengths and less weaknesses, we should also be able to play defense on the nightly matchups as long as their minds are motivated and they can anticipate and read the player offense. I don't think we'll be a good defensive team this year, but we'll see. I think we'll be average though because we at least have quickness and length.
