Anderson, 6-6 and 220 pounds, played two seasons with the Charlotte Bobcats. He averaged 5.8 points and 1.9 rebounds in 53 career games with the Bobcats.

League sources said several players have worked out for the Cavs and the team plans visits from several more before the start of training camp on Oct. 2. One player expected to visit is Allan Houston.

As long as they don't pay him too much, I'm fine with him as a guy to fill out our roster. He showed that he can play a bit with Charlotte last season, so hopefully he can build from there.

Just play Shannon Brown. I don't understand Mike Brown. Shannon is a great player who can do so much. Just give him the chance and he can help you win.

I agree with Shannon Brown, but maybe coach Brown will play him? Alan Anderson I'm not even aware of this cat...5.8ppg doesn't sound too bad, I would prefer they sign him to Allan Houston unless Houston will come back and play great which I doubt will happen.

Alan Anderson and Shannon Brown both played on the court at the same time at MSU. The Cavs owner is an Alumni of Michigan State, and is very close with Tom Izzo. I think Anderson has a good shot at making this team, and possibly replacing some of what Sasha Pavlovic did for the Cavs last season. He can play some PG, is very savvy at drawing fouls on the defender, and can finish around the basket. He'd be a solid player off the bench for the Cavs if he makes the team.

Wow, so the Cavs owner is multiple people?

Just busting your chops shape, but that is a pet peeve of mine. Alumnus is the masculine singular term, while Alumni is the masculine plural term.

I once had to pull over my car on the 210 because I was laughing too hard after seeing someone with a license plate frame that said Stanford at the top and Alumni at the bottom.
