I think most have you have heard about the big news, but in case you haven't, JustBBall will be merging with SportsTwo sometime soon (probably this evening). This will be a huge change, but it also brings an excellent opportunity for the site to grow and expand. I just want to make sure that everyone knows that we'll try to preserve the community we have at our new destination. The staff will remain the same. We'll promote the same level of discussion. All of our posts, PMs, and accounts will be moved over there (DO NOT REGISTER YOUR NAME ON STWO). And hopefully you guys are open to the change. Some of you may be turned off by the site at first (the design isn't as great as ours), but we'll be working with our new partners to not only increase the quality but also to improve upon what we have here. The owner of STwo is an excellent programmer and his site has the capabilities that vbulletin never has (fantasy games, trade checkers, historical stats, salary information, individual blogs for the members, etc.). Couple that with our excellent graphic designers and quality posters and we have the chance to create a well-rounded sports site that is one of the best on the internet. After the merger, entering 'www.justbball.com' will redirect you to the basketball section of STwo. Well, this was quite the shock when i went to log on today. I hope this all works out. I'm glad you guys are aware of some of the concerns already.</p> I'll openly admit that I'm not overly optimistic however. </p>
I hope asdf and Iggy can show up. The site take some people time to get used to, I'm already used to it. </p> BTW - I miss JBB, but this is still great.</p>
SportsTwo has gone a LONGGG WAY since it merged with BBW forum (my orgin), I kindof didnt like it at the beginning but now im used to it and find that its really great!! Hopefully most of your members can adjust to the change and contribute to this forum as I was a little disapointed with the large amount of members from BBW who left S2 immaturally after the merge.
