As much as I hate to say it, the Steeler fans owe Bakes an apology or, at the very least, an admittance that he was right and they couldn't possibly have been more wrong. If anything looks crack induced around here, it's this thread's title.

Every good team will have it's bad weeks. I highly doubt that Chicago or New England will go 16-0. Congrats on your pick Bakes. I'm sure you feel better now that the Champs are 1-1 and your Pats are 2-0.

But I'll tell you that this is me. <--- Not concerned. It's one game. Our defense held them to 9 points. Ben will be back on track. Next week when everyone picks Cinci, I'll be back to pick the Steelers.

You'll be happy to know (or maybe not I dunno lol) I'm picking your Steelers over the "depleted" Bengals D next week [IMG]

The depleted Bengals D made Larry Johnson look like a backup, they pummel the steelers next week if Kim Kasveriharn can play even at a half way decent level.

The only thing that kept the Jags in the game last year was Tommy Maddox. They won't get 4 turnovers from the QB this year and consequently will not escape this game. Steelers win this one for sure.
Im not even sure there are any Jags fans in this place, I don't think I have ever heard any post. At least I can count on our trusty anti-Steeler fans to argue.</div>
Everyone on the defense played except for Hayward who of course is on the IR. I wish I had seen this thread before the game and had a chance to defend my Jaguars.

I like our chances better after the bye week. But next week should be a good game. It really depends on how Ben & Troy heal this week.

So much for that theory.Jags dominated on the defensive end. They need to use Maurice Drew better because he is the big play guy that can open up some scoring form them.He makes big plays when you need them most so give him the ball more out in the open!

No, they would have lost, jags were too dominant on D. Steelers O-line lost game, not ben.

If i post something like that when bears play a team that won 11 games a season before, i.e. Seattle vs Bears wk 4, I say Bears win for sure. I welcome the flaming i get if they lose. I wouldnt say about that team. Now, I did say it about new england. I know i will be flamed if they lose. Besides, this is smack talk forum, you should have expected that.
