Post all game thoughts into this thread.

So what kind of game can we expect tomorrow? We're going to have two top 10 calibur defensive teams going at it. There's going to be many questions concerning the Redskins season whether Jason Campbell has improved on his passing mechanics over the summer and we all know the team will rely on him to lead the Redskins in the future. Our new veteran Pete Kendall will a tough task of playing at left guard and he'll be a spotlighted to see if he can hold his ground against Jason Taylor, Zach Thomas and Joey Porter. More importantly, he's only had a few practices as a Redskin with no experience whatsoever playing with Chris Samuels.

Meanwhile, our defensive ends know that they need to make an impact after leading the league in least takeovers last season and with guys such as Springs, Smoot, Rogers and Prioleau controlling the area, we know at least that Trent Green will have a difficult passing game tomorrow.

I can't wait to see what kind of a mind set the Skins have going into the season. They're a better team than the Dolphins but you can never tell how this team will play. I'm very excited to see the Landry/Taylor duo in action.

Our defense is looking amazing so far. Every tackle made is leaving a mark on these dolphins and that's the first statement they want to make during the season to show how physical they are. Our front 7 is playing just as hard, giving Trent Green a hard time in the pocket and so far, the Dolphins haven't scored and that's the Gregg Williams defense we know.

Our offense is playing decent, but the Redskins are having a hard time mixing up between the run and the passing game. After Jason's first throw of the season, which ended up as an interception, it looks like they're trying to take the load off with Betts and Portis running, but the Dolphins seem to shorten their gains as the quarter went on. The offense needs Jason Campbell to be confident and make his passes to expand this defense if they want to wiin this game.

Redskins are up 3-0, in the second, after a field goal by Suisham. We're rushing alot and no surprise there, when you have Ladell Betts and Clinton Portis what do you think will happen?

BTW, Blackadder, I'm talking about on paper.

The Redskins just completely stopped playing defense in the last minute before the half, leading to a couple easy passes from Trent Green and a touch down catch by Peelle. Our defense needs to get back into form during the second or we have no chance, our passing game has also been pretty weak. 7-3 Miami.

That was a dagger in that last drive in the first half by the Dolphins. I don't see why Gregg Williams stayed in the zone, Trent Green found a passing lane through Smoot almost every play. The Redskins need to put more pressure on Trent Green and it looks like they've been doing it so far in the second half.

Jason Campbell needs to work on his accuracy. I don't care how good those 2 passing plays to Moss were, his receivers should not be in the air when they catch the ball, they need to be on the ground. Campbell needs to make his passes crisp and clean, so his receivers can focus on gaining yardage after the play. Other than that, Campbell's arm his silky smooth and been finding Randel El all day.

A win in OT for the Redskins! Sean Suisham was accurate with his field goals today, which led us to the W. It was a hard fought game, we came through, now let's see how we handle the Eagles.

Besides a few long bombs, Jason Campbell had a piss-poor game. He is still so in-accurate when it comes to the most simpliest passes and you would've figured his accuracy got better over the summer. He's not utilizing his receivers correctly. You cannot just throw long jumpball passes to Brandon Lloyd when someone much taller than him is covering him, who easily got the INT. Throughout the entire game, his misthrew his passes whether it was too high or too far. When you have a quick WR core in Moss, Randel El and Lloyd, you have to get the ball to their chest or waist. They make their jobs best when they are able to catch the ball and run for extra yardage but, we did not see that at all, instead they were too busy jumping in the air and making tough catches to begin with.

Our defense went up and down throughout the entire game, but it was great to see them come big when the opportunity to do so was there. Our corners and secondary did not look so impressive when it came to coverage, but they did a great job in bringing the pain to the Dolphins from Springs, Landry and Taylor. Our pass defense did not look much better than they were last season and I thought Gregg Williams called out zone plays a bit too much. Trent Green threw 24-38 and that is not a good thing if you want to be able to stop the offense when the time matters later on in the season. Hopefully, we'll be prepared for that next weekend.

Come on Ming, you really need to lay off of Jason Campbell. Your expectations are too high for him. He didn't play good, but I don't think he played "piss-poor". He played about average, but then again you have to consider the drops that our unit had. Sure he made some bad throws, but most QB's make a couple of bad throws a game. The 2nd INT was more of Lloyd's fault, IMO. He should have gone up to get it rather than waiting for it to come to him like he did. Overall I was pretty pleased with the effort that we had today. We will certainly need to improve, but we didn't have a complete meltdown like the opener last year against the Vikings and we are tied for #1 in the NFC East.
