Here is a new addition to this forum that I think everybody who is new to this is going to enjoy. The prospective amount of questions and people involved will make this even more entertaining, and well, undoubtably more strenuous to answer for those who win in the polls. I shall explain.

Who doesn't want to go Under The Microscope? (UTM)

The purpose of this activity is to ask a member up to three questions to get to knowhim or hera little more. Every 12 to 14 days a stickied 'questions thread'appears for a member who will be going UTM. Rules for asking questions are listed below. There is a new poll in each 'questions thread' for the current member that is going UTM. This poll allows all of the members at SportsTwo decide who will be next up. The amount of members in each poll will start with three, but we may raise this number to four in the future considering the amount of members this forum now has.
The actual poll participants are chosen withthree different things in mind. First, that the member is active. Second, post count does not actually matter much. We won't chose someone with 1,000 posts over someone with 200 or so. Finally, the participants are actually basically chosen randomly so there are no favorites played. This way, everyone has the opportunity to get involved and feel welcome as much as anyone else. We want to know more about everyone, so don't be discouraged if you lose in a poll, it does not mean you will not be considered for another one in the future.
We will start with the previous poll winner from JBB, Swish. For this week only by choice and allow me to explain, former JBB members will not be poll participants. This is to allow former JBB members like myself to ask questions to our new forum friends. The questions session with Swish will in turn allow everybody else new to us coming over from JBB to get to know one of our favorite staff members.

Rules
Off-Topic posts, quoting other members, or not including a question will result in a post removal and the member will receive an official warning.

You may only ask up to three questions.

No Name, Address or Phone Number questions allowed.

No "Who's the best poster on the forums" or "How good of a poster am I" type of questions are allowed.

Be sure to look if a question you plan to ask hasn’t already been posted.

The 'questions thread'along with the poll will remain open once it is put up for exactly five days. Simple as that. I'll throw out a question some people might have: How do you select what three people are in the poll to be voted on for the UTM? Can you request/pick most active posters or what?

Now I think the best way to decide the upcoming members is to actually really take three random members on the forum and keep track of who has been up recently to avoid repetition in the selections. Not take members by name recognition, but by real random selection. It would be very drowned out and in the end very confusing to have a poll up to ask who should be in the next poll to go UTM. If you guys believe the old way is best, let me know, otherwise I seen it as playing favorites. I see the same with requests, but if you have another better way of seeing this through, you can all discuss it here.

Hopefully I get voted in one day..haha. But you non-JBBers will begin to love this also..great way to get to know members.

UTM is doing great just as it is - keep it going. I tried to make myself come accross as a poster who has never seen UTM before and possibly wanted to get selected to be interviews, even though I have done it before.

Sounds like a good laugh.

P.s deleted that other thread M Two One you doughnut

M Two said he was going to set up a new thread specifically for you. This was just an question/explanation thread for S2 members.
Yeah bro, no worries. Chutney and I are still discussing about how we should set up the thread since the format is different here at S2. We'll figure something out soon, sorry about the wait.
