Yeah, I know this is gunna sound stupid but I just recently got into football (all because of Madden 07) and have grown to like the Titans. I have heard about football teams having rivals and was kinda curious as to if and who was the Titans rival? I know i said sad but I would really like any info anyone is willing to give. The thing is I live in Texas and can't watch or go to any of the games, I've thought about watching the play by play on NFL.com, is that any good? Thank you all very much.

Well welcome to the forums Kitty.

First, if you want to watch the games, consider getting a satellite TV service - I believe its direct TV that shows all the NFL games. I don't have to worry about that so much, but I'm sure others will be able to give you more info on that.

As far as rivarlies are concerned, Tennessee, as far as I know, really doesn't have any big rivalries. Part of this is because Tennessee is fairly new in their division having been moved from Houston. You can always look to their division teams (Houston, Indianapolis, and Jacksonville) for rivalries.

Tennessee has 3 rivals....the natural rival would be the Texans....the Titans used to be the Oilers and they used to be in Houston, plus they are in the same division....the 2nd is the Colts....a few years ago, the Titans were the Colts biggest stumbling block every season....the 3rd is the Ravens....they used to be division foes and McNair and Eddie George used to battle Ray Lewis hard every year....with McNair in Baltimore, that seems like a natural rival still....

And when they left Houston they took the rights to the team name Oilers with them. I believe Jeff Fisher is 2nd only to Bill Cowher in longest running tenure as HC, so it might be too soon cut the guy. But then I'm not familiar with the how the video game coaching option works.

Keep Fisher. I don't think he's going anywhere.

    And welcome to the boards!
