<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>The Ravens are back on that Super Bowl pace on defense. When Baltimore won the Super Bowl in 2000, the Ravens gave up an average of 257 yards per game and 10 points. After two weeks, the team that always refers to its defense as a bunch of guys out hunting is giving up 153 yards and 3 points per game. By the way, I asked one of the Ravens' hunters why DT Kelly Gregg handed his fumble recovery to Ray Lewis, and his answer was, "Ray took the ball from him."</div> Taken from www.nfl.com Your thoughts please.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (vikingfan)</div><div class='quotemain'>The Ravens have played two horrible teams. I'm not putting money on the Ravens yet...</div> Packers & Lions hello! At least the Bucs won a division last season. The Ravens ARE for real & the Steelers & Bengals should be concerned.
The difference is the ravens were a last place team last year, and the bears were in 1st, and had the #1 ranked defense. So, bears have been doing just a little while longer than ravens. Thus, more legit.
A good number of defensive players from that SB team are still very much apart of this current roster. I would say that's legit.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (bakes781)</div><div class='quotemain'>McAllister, Reed & Lewis? Bears have been feasting on a poor division.</div> Reed wasnt on that team. so, 2 of 11, one of them very injury prone since that super bowl and missed most of last year.
o well I dont like to get facts in the way of a good argument lol bears haven't done anything yet IMO that wasn't expected of them this season.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (bakes781)</div><div class='quotemain'>o well I dont like to get facts in the way of a good argument</div> Now, that's a fact.

He's more like a little kid that keeps asking "why?" You just want to super glue his lips shut and be done with it.

The Tuck Rule! How much does it cost to get refs to make up rules on the fly?
Show us the article in which the Pats were proved to have paid of the refs & I'll entertain you're theory. There is recent reports of several Panthers players from SB38 having taken steroids prior to the game, but noboby here or nationally wants to talk about that.

I'm just saying that in the twenty some years that I had watched football prior to that game, I had never heard of the Tuck rule or that crap about making a "football move." However, it wasn't the first time I saw the Patriots steal a game in Foxboro.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (vikingfan)</div><div class='quotemain'>The Ravens have played two horrible teams. I'm not putting money on the Ravens yet...</div> So have the Bears. The Ravens have San Diego next week and Chicago has Minnesota this week. Should finally see some of the true colors. I think Chicago is for real and I think Baltimore is a playoff team. The difference right now is I believe Chicago is a Super Bowl contender and the jury is still out on Baltimore with that. I did pick them to make the playoffs so this doesn't suprise me.

While I don't know for a fact that the Pats paid off the refs in the game with the Raiders, I do know that I had never heard of the Tuck rule. No one had heard of it or that odd definition of "making a football move." It was a fumble. Plain and simple. If Pats fans can complain about the officiating in Denver last year, the Raiders have a much more clear cut right to complain about that rule in that game.
