Have you seen Smith's calves? How could he not be included in that steroid rumor?

Exactly, it would be like if brady were out for patriots, except steve smith is better player</div>
You think Steve Smith is a better player than Tom Brady? How can you compare the two? If it is based on their impact on their respective teams then I want some of what you're smoking. Tom Brady has been a MONUMENTAL impact player for the Patriots, leading them to 3 Super Bowl victories, including one against Steve and the Panthers. How dare you say Steve Smith is the superior player? That speaks volumes about your intelligence or lack thereof.</div>
Didnt say he was more valuable, just a better player. Obviously the qb position is 5x more valuable than WR, but relative by position to average replacement, he is head and shoulders a better player than tom brady

Tom Brady is more valuable and a better player. Proof would be in negotiating a trade. The Panthers would gladly give up Steve Smith to us in return for Tom Brady. The reverse isn't true. The Pats would never give up Tom Brady for Steve Smith. I think it is like apples and oranges really, but based on what each player has accomplished, Brady is better.

Panthers would never ever trade Steve Smith for Tom Brady. Steve Smith is 46% of the panthers offense which is extremly high for a WR and panthers would win more games with Steve Smith in Charlotte than Brady here. Steve Smith requires 4 people covering him to shut him down.

Steve Smith is more valuable to the panthers than Brady is to the patriots.

Trades are made based on value. i find it very unlikely a team with delhomme at QB would give up its best WR for a slightly better QB. The patriots I can see making the trade, if they felt they had good backup QB, since they have almost nothing at WR, and steve smith is single handedly better than the top 5 patriots WR.

Regardless, that once again only proves value.

Finally on board that is a one man team. Good to see.

Do you consider this a good thing? One person, our running back, made my high school team. We went undefeated through the season and our running back got hurt in the semi-final game. We won that game 13-10 in double OT. He didn't play AT ALL in the state championship and we lost. The moral of my story is that if you count on one player, you better hope he stays healthy for the entire season.

The Panthers can still be stopped if he is 100%, trust me. [IMG]
