well after the first half i was completely disgusted with how the Jets were playing they were losing 17-0 at the half, then when the Patriots scored again I wasnt a happy camper. But what i liked is that the Jets fought hard anyway and made it a game. They scored 17 points in the 2nd half and had a drive going down the field for the tie but there was an INT, ending the game. But i definatly liked what i saw this week I didnt really expect them to win but Chad Pennington is doing really well these last two weeks. The problem with the Jets is that there is absolutely no running game. Kevan Barlow is not the answer at running back he won't be for any team. The Jets will probably need to draft a running back or sign a good one in the future to be a complete team. But if Pennington keeps this kind of play up the Jets will be in the games.

I've been impressed with Pennington, with him being healthy and playing the way he is he actually gives the Jets a chance at a decent season. If he goes down with any kind of injury for an extended period of time, Jets fans will be having flashbacks from last season and we all know how frightening those are. :|

Im sticking to my prediction of the Jets being a Darkhorse, they played excellent today, Gosh if Martin was healthy they would dominate.

Pats offense is slowly starting to gel, but there's clearly room for improvement. The defense was solid up until that last quarter where we had some miss tackles & appeared to be on cruise control a bit too early. In the end we got the win that's all that matters. 2-0 in the division is where we expected to be at this point & now we can look ahead to the meat of our schedule.

The disrespect continues. You can't give the Jets any credit for playing their butts off and making it a game. No, the Jets only came back because the Pats were on "cruise control." What a load of crap. It's not like the Patriots didn't have any defenders on the field and I'm sure those players weren't just letting the Jets make plays.

The Patriots have yet to play up to par. They dominated for 3 quarters. You didn't even watch your own team play on Sunday Dale so I can only assume you haven't watched this one. For those of you with NFL Network the Pats/Jets game will be replayed tonight at 10:30 EST.

I give the Jets credit for not folding. However for those of you that wanna proclaim this as some kind of moral victory for NY let's not forget who was up 24-0. The Jets barely beat a Titans teams that got clobbered by the Bolts on Sunday.

Don't you get it yet? No matter what you say or how you say it, you will always be disrespectful to other teams in Dale's eyes. That said, I give the Jets credit for making a hell of a come back. They really did. The crowd got into it, they got the ball down the field, they forced turnovers, etc. They had me scared, I'll admit it. I am happy that we had them down 24-0 but we have to give them respect for holding us scoreless in the 4th quarter while racking up 17 points. And BTW, Crotcher or whatever his name is wasn't down on that play that he scored on. He landed on top of a NE defender, got back up, and broke tackles all the way to the endzone.

All in all, I do feel like the Patriots were caught off guard in the 4th quarter and they barely escaped with a win. Is that good enough for you, Dale?

No I wouldn't dispute that. It was just one of those crazy bizarre plays. Similar to the one in Philly where Plax fumbled, but the Giants recovered it in the endzone.

Cotchery looked like he was down when I first saw the highlights. After further review, he never was.

As I sat watching the highlights of this game, I was thinking the regardless of who plays or who the coach is the Jets always have heart/passion/intensity. Then, I got irritated. Why? With the exception a few players, The phins rarely show those same characteristics.

These past 7 or so years, If Miami played with a fraction of the desire that the Jets do then who knows what they might have accomplished.
