QUOTE (dro)

would you have T.O on your team if you were a GM???? if you say yes then tell us why????? if you say no then tell us why?????
No. I dont want my team chemistry destroyed. Only Gm who should have taken him was millen, whats he got to lose. LOL
Nah, I wouldn't take TO on my team either. There was a time when I would have said yes I would but after watching what he did to the Eagles, no way! Maybe if I was really desperate but I'd rather stick with character guys like Torry Holt.
no i definatly wouldnt he is a cancer in the lockerroom and a media hog. Why would I want a selfis, thinks-only-about-himself guy who does everything possible to get attention. Hes a great talent but he comes with too much baggage
I'm a Cowboys fan and I would still say no. I actually appreciate some of what he's doing thus far this season. He's been on good behavior besides the overblown media coverage of the hamstring injury. He was the best Cowboy on the field in week 1. I expect him to blow up on the team at some point, but not this season. He's a good rent a player for a season. Next year, he scares me. One knock I have on TO, and have always had on him, as a player is his hands. They aren't great by any means. People drop passes for one of two reasons. Either they just can't catch or they don't concentrate hard enough. Obviously, TO can catch so I think it's a concentration thing for him. I really believe that his ego gets in the way of his hands. I think when he's going for the catch he starts thinking too much about the big play he's about to pull off and the glory that will befall him for that catch. That's why he he drops balls. He's always dropped some of the easy catches in his career. However, he's going to come back and make that td catch to win a game while he's get high-lowed by two db's.

He played on the broken ankle because it was the Super Bowl and he wanted to be in the limelight. The Cowboys play the Eagles Oct. 8th....he'll be there.
Generally, I would say no. However, to be fair, I think it has to depend on the situation. Are you talking a fantasy draft, or you are a GM and he is available. Sure, its easy to say that I would rather have a Holt or a Harrison or whoever, but those guys are rarely available. To have him on my team, it would have to be on my terms. I can give him the money if he produces, but he shouldn't expect much of a signing bonus if anything. He shouldn't expect more than a one year contract. If I have a coach that I don't know if he can handle players like this, I definitely don't sign him. If I know I can win without him, I don't sign him. If I can win, but I need a top receiver, I might consider under my terms. If I don't have a chance to be an elite team this year, I don't sign him and develop some younger players. If its week 7 and I'm the Colts and I have lost Harrison and Wayne for the rest of the year, and Owens is available, do I offer him a pro-rated contract for the rest of the year? Yeah, I'd consider that. If he's a jerk, we move forward without him next year, just like we would have anyway. Would I ever give him $10 mil up front and a 3 year contract? No way. You know, Parcells had problems with Antonio Bryant, which was less publicized because he is not the media darling that Owens is. Bryant obviously had talent and still does. It just wasnt worth it for Dallas. Thats easy to say when you don't have to worry about the salary cap impact of cutting a guy with a big signing bonus. A lot of rambling, really, for a "I don't want him" answer. If I have a choice of top players, I take someone else. But I never use the word "never"
no way would i want TO on the packers. i don't care if he's got talent up the wazoo - the guy has head problems & nobody around him has the guts to tell him he needs help.

yea, and then trade him away....some losers are bound to give something for him!lol, but not just have him actually play for me!

At least KoRo is trying to change his behavior. Although I think the NFL is setting a very bad precedent by allowing him to play right now after failing the substance abuse policy again.

Whats he going to do, destroy lions season? Millen beat him to it. At least you would have a productive WR

I applaud the Vikings for cutting him - there needs to be consequences for actions. The league needs to suspend k-rob now for violating the substance abuse policy. But I certainly don't blame the Packers for picking him up. He'll be a great teammate and, if he finally kicks the bottle, he'll be a real playmaker.
K-Rob can change for the better. He doesnt play to much this season and It can hurt him. He can shape up from this and get away from alcohol (bad VF for makeing a alcohol forum! BAD )
I would definetley not. Not just because he was on eagles but because he brings too much drama, and he is bypolar.. he feels different everyday. He reminds me of a girl.. He brings so much drama and fights with everyone. He blames all his problems on someone else. And he holds grudges. I just dont liek seing tampons on the sidline so my answer is no.
