I'm going to be posting a player prediction thread for every single player on the Magic. I'll post a new player every couple of days. What we are going to do is predict the role of the player, the amount of minutes, and his statistics. Role: Minutes: Statistics: Additional Comments

Role: He should be the starter, it's only logical to have your defensive stopper alongside a guy like Rashard Lewis, and then bring Hedo off the bench for a scoring punch with the second unit.
Minutes: I feel he should get around 25 minutes per game.
Statistics: I'm not a big stat guy, although I guess I'm a hypocrite because I actively play fantasy basketball every year, but I'll say something along the lines of 9 points and 4-5 rebounds per game. His contributions go beyond the stat sheet, though.
Additional Comments: I really like Trevor Ariza. He has really grown as a player each and every year, and his defensive capabilities are very valuable to the team. He's not going to go out there and give you 20 points and 10 rebounds a night, but he's certainly one of the more important pieces to the team. Hopefully Ariza's knee doesn't bother him or force him to sit out this year.

Role: 6th man off the bench
Minutes:20-25 MPG
Statistics:6-7 PPG, 4-5 RPG
Additional Comments: He has great athletisium, and he is a very good defensive play. He has a great future!

Role: Starting defensive minded SG.Minutes: I'll say 30mpg. He has to share playing time at SG with JJ, but he'll probably log some minutes at SF too.Statistics: 10.8ppg, 5.2rpg, 2apg, 1.4spg.Additional Comments: Ariza rocks! He's my second favorite player and I hope he gets some good playing time this year. I love his hustle, I hope we can hold onto him for a while.
Role: 6th Man
Minutes: high 20's, low 30's
Statistics: 9ppg, 4rpg, 1apg,1.2spg
Additional Comments: I love Ariza, he has freak athletcism and if he can develop his ball handling, forget about it.

Role: X-FactorMinutes: ~25Statistics: 7 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1 steal, 1 assist, 0.3 blocksAdditional Comments: 2 of those rebounds will be offensive rebounds! If Ariza could develop a consistent midrange jumper, he would be great on both ends of the floor. We know he can drive, so he should develop a jumper so they'll have to stay on him when he's open and they'll take his pump fakes seriously. Also, get free throw percentage up to 75% or so.
Role: Starting SG, solid backup for us Minutes: 25-30 mins Statistics: 7ppg/7rbs/1stl Additional Comments: Easily my 2nd favorite Magic player on this team behind Dwight. Needs to add a solid midrange jumper to his arsenal. Could be a great X-Factor for us with his athleticism. I really like what Chuck said. He really gave a lot of good points.
