    <div class="bi">Let the interviews begin</div><div><span style="font-style: italic">Sep 6</span> - The Astros began the process to fill their vacant general manager position Wednesday, interviewing Muzzy Jackson, Ed Wade and Jim Beattie, The Houston Chronicle reports. </div><div>More interviews are set for Thursday: Phillies assistant GM Ruben Amaro Jr.; former Astros GM Bob Watson; and Astros assistant GMs Ricky Bennett and David Gottfried. </div>

    </p><div>ESPN's Keith Law reported Thursday that the Marlins denied the Astros' request to interview Dan Jennings, Florida's vice president of player personnel. </div>
