Suprise this wasn't posted. He'll miss probably 2 to 4 weeks. They have a bye week next and then they play the Titans followed by @ Philly. So you think he'll play against the Eagles? If he does, I don't care what anyone says, it's a must watch game in my opinion. If he doesn't play I think Philly has a chance to beat up on Dallas pretty badly with that defense and with their receivers (who have been a suprise) I hope he plays just because you know the Philly crowd will be that much more in it if he does.

I must be alone here in thinking that the Eagles defense is not that good. They let the Giants back in the game yesterday. Their secondary is especially poor. I know they had like 10 sacks yesterday, but tell me why they stopped putting the pressure on Eli in the 4th quarter? They let up and that's a terrible coaching decision. The Giants OL is terrible. Dallas' OL was impressive against Washington who I think is better defensively than the Eagles.

On the TO thing....he'll play against the Eagles.

Turd Orifice will probably play, but he'll be sure to let us know that he shouldn't be on the field and how much pain he is in so all the media whores can regale with stories about what a warrior Turd is.

I gotta agree with Porky on this one. Our receivers (excluding Owens) haven't been as much of a surprise to me, but I think we need Owens presence. Of course, if you watched the game, they did make some nice plays, but they still dropped a lot of ball. The Eagles D is very good and they didn't really give the game away as much as the Eagles just need to find a better power back if they intend to play sit-on-a-lead and run the clock out. The Giants got more chance than they should have (and obviously did a good job of taking advantage of them).

I don't know if they stopped putting the pressure late, but it certainly didn't work as well. In fact, on the last play of the game, they brought quite a blitz, forcing Eli to basically just chuck up a jump ball. Brown just got turned around and Plax made a nice play.

Yes, this is going to be a tight division. Owens will be there for the Eagles.

How bad is the break? Receivers play with broken fingers all the time...

How much does the loss of Jevon Kearse slow down the Eagles defense though? I am not high on anyone in the Eagles secondary other than Dawkins. The CBs have been average for the past three years especially Sheldon Brown. Lito Shephard is hurt and didn't play against the Giants. Roderick Hood is not going to hold any of the Cowboys receivers. Michael Lewis has also been a problem. He had a terrible year last season and he hasn't started this season off very well. Funny that Shockey made no impact on the game because Dawkins was responsible for him, but both receivers topped 100 yards. The Eagles have some issues to address defensively especially with Kearse down and the early prognosis on the injury is that he's out indefinitely.

Parcells said today 2-4 weeks is stupid because they wouldn't even know of any timetable until the surgery was done. He said the 2 weeks probably came out because they have a bye next week so everyone is out two weeks. He didn't expect him to miss games.
