The guy is old and he sucks. I'm hoping to god Billy King didn't screw up and offered him a guarenteed contract. If this bum makes the roster over Herbert Hill or Derick Byars, I will be pissed

I'm amazed people are still willing to give Booth a look in the NBA. He must have an amazing agent. </p>

<font size="3">shapecity, if guys like Allan Houston and Reggie Miller are attracting attention in free agency, it's not far fetched to believe someone like Calvin Booth may actually make an NBA squad, especially if you have a General Manager who goes by the name Billy King. </font></p>

<font size="3">Anyways, from what I have read, we signed Calvin Booth to a two year deal with the second year as a player option. So basically if this is indeed true, we're back to a 15 player roster, if I'm not mistaken. So in order for us to keep Derrick Byars and Herbert Hill, we'll either need to release a player, or do a 2 for 1 type trade. I'm not a fan of this signing at all if it is indeed a 2 year deal. If it was a one year deal, I'd understand somewhat, because this team lacks veteran presence. But a 2 year deal for a 50 year old center is ridiculous. Given how cheap this management is, don't be surprised to see a trade midseason involving Calvin Booth and a 2nd round pick to an unamed team for cash. It's been done before, see Alan Henderson and Lee Nailon</font></p>
