Everyone who follows football knows about Glen Dorsey, Matt Flynn and Early Doucet but they aren't the only players who make this team a National Title contender.
Keiland Williams RB - A lot of followers of recruiting know this name as well as people who follow college football closely. Keiland Williams is a fricken horse and there aren't any other ways to describe him. Fast, big, shifty....Touchdown machine. The emergence of KW as a premiere back is so important to this team. This year is his coming out party but next year is for real.
Darry Beckwith MLB - An extremely overlooked part of the Tiger D. Everyone focuses on Glen Dorsey and Tyson Jackson but Beckwith is just as important. If Jackson and Dorsey both go pro this year, Beckwith will be our best defensive player next year.
Craig Steltz SS - 4 interceptions in two games. Not the most athletic player on the field, but he's constantly in position and never gives up on a play. Everyone could use a Craig Steltz on their team.
Chad Jones - S - Only a freshman but this kid is the real deal. He gets on the field already but in the future you can bet that this guy will be one of the top safteys in the nation. He's 6'3 and 218...think a LaRon Landry reload. A very talented athlete that was drafted in the MLB draft but chose LSU instead.
Jacob Hester - FB/RB - A utility back that can do it all. This guy gets positive yardage on every play. It isn't always pretty...in fact it never is but its yards.
Ciron Black - OT - At 6'5 320 Ciron is a prototype Tackle of NFL caliber while only a sophomore. He will be a top draft pick if he remains healthy.
Brandon Lafell - WR - A big physical wideout that can still move like a smaller guy. Lafell is 6'3 218lbs and reminds me a lot of Dwayne Bowe only faster. Lafell's first catch ever as a freshman on his first play ever in college was a TD. He was Flynn's major target at VTech and should be all season.

QUOTE (ATLien)

Keiland Williams should be more involved in the offense than he is right now.

I completely agree he only has 26 carries and it's been 4 games already. He should easily have 50+

I'm not saying give it to him 30 times per game, running back rotations are smart but still I would like to see him take on a larger role.

Do you know why? I'm just wondering if he's still learning the offense, if it's because he's young, or what.

Jacob Hester's reliability holding the football is probably what is cutting into his runs the most. They do use Keiland almost exclusively when inside the 25 as shown by his team leading rushing TD's.

Haven't posted in this thread in awhile but Chad Jones showed some promise tonight. He laid the lumber on John Parker Wilson to cause the fumble that ended up tying the game. He is going to be a straight up stud.

I also like that big OG (can't recall his name but appearantly he was the biggest baby ever born in the Bayou state) they have as well as Early Doucet & Highsmith (OLB).
